Mission statement Photography: the art or process of producing images by the action of radiant energy and especially light on a sensitive surface. So that is that professional explanation... But what really is photography? A sequence of snapshots? Or the art of framing, setting, and capturing a moment? At Snapshot, we believe that photography is a way to capture the moments we hold close to our hearts. We offer the chance for people to learn and understand photography, as well as a chance to understand how to use a high quality camera. However, Snapshot is not just photograhy. We feel getting active with others is an essential part of being happy in our everyday lives. Along with that idea, we feel the hometown of Snapshot—Marquette, Michigan—has so many beautiful wonders that are not fully taken advantage of. We want to help community members, tourists, and visitors explore the true beauty of this city, while documenting their adventure. Whether it be an easy walk around Presque Isle Park or an adventurous hike to Hogsback, Snapshot will guide the way.

logo Ideations

Shown above is the official Snapshot logo. It is the primary visual identity of the company and must appear on all official Snapshot documents. Any changes or modifications to the logo are prohibited. The logotype is the text on the logo that states the name of our organization—SNAPSHOT. The mark is the pictorial elements of the logo—the outline of the camera and flash at the top. Snapshot can provide this logo in most specified types to fit your businesses needs. However, no other visual element or type may be added to the logo. The Snapshot logo, by itself, is a representation of the company. If requesting the rights to logo usage, you must contact the company to verify and sign off on the reasoning for using the Snapshot logo. The background color must stay in the color palette of the brand. However, the background can be replaced with a Snapshot photo (with correct authorization for usage). Any usage of the logo or signature tagline requires prior approval. Please contact Snapshot owner Lana Bannow for usage at (906) 555-3730 or snapshot@gmail.com.
