ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM THE ULTIMATE IN AUTOMOTIVE LUXURY, REINVENTED FOR AN EIGHTH GENERATION. At the rarefied level of Rolls-Royce's new flagship, luxury isn't measured by the softness of the leather upholstery or the perfectly-matched grain of the veneer. Such things are taken as read. Instead, luxury is redefined as an environment that's created exclusively for the owner. The eighth and latest generation of Phantom achieves this; it is a statement of perfectionist car making that's as bold as it is seductive. Due to the way the new Phantom is constructed, it has fewer panel joins, giving the impression on first view that it is hewn from solid aluminium. The unique signature Pantheon grille is still the focus of the head-on view, but the top surfaces are curved to better integrate it with the bonnet. This cleaner, more modern treatment of a design classic is complemented by the new headlamp design. The front-to-rear design line begins at the grille and flows outward then along the flanks, conveying grace and fluidity. It's a confident evolution of key Rolls-Royce design signatures.

ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM

Enter the interior and you'll encounter 'the Embrace', the Rolls-Royce term for the way the doors silently close as you settle into the seats and are cocooned in a haven of calm and elegance. Technology is hidden until it's needed, surfaces are beautifully simple yet seemingly perfect in every detail. Even the (heated) armrests are inspired by the classic form of a J-Class yacht. The dashboard and fascia has been reimagined as 'the Gallery' â&#x20AC;&#x201C; an uninterrupted sweep of toughened glass that runs the full width of the dash, enclosing dials, 12.3-inch TFT colour displays and analogue clock, while providing a viewing space for images or works of art chosen by the vehicle owner.

ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM EXTENDED WHEELBASE SIMPLY INCOMPARABLE: A NEW BENCHMARK IN SPACE AND LUXURY. The new Phantom is the eighth generation of Rolls-Royce flagships and, like each of its majestic predecessors, it sets new standards in refinement, luxury and comfort. That's especially true of the extended wheelbase version, which embraces its occupants in a meticulously-crafted interior that's designed to make every journey a memorable experience. From the curved edges of the Pantheon grille to the elegant, sweeping lines from nose to tail, the form of the new Phantom conveys poised assurance. The rear window is more steeply raked than that of its predecessor but the scalloped roofline ensures that even the tallest of rear-seat occupants can stretch out in comfort. A single polished stainless-steel strip distinguishes the Extended Wheelbase Phantom from its stablemate. Entry and egress are all part of what Rolls-Royce describes as 'the embrace'; a chauffeur or attendant simply needs to touch a sensor on the door handle for it to close smoothly and silently. Alternatively, rear seat occupants can control this function from their seats.

ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM EXTENDED WHEELBASE

Once inside, passengers can savour an interior that's contemporary, uncluttered and full of tactile delights. Technology remains hidden until required, spaces and surfaces are clean. Occupants are encircled in beautiful and authentic materials, such as high-gloss veneers and flawless leather. The sweep of wood panelling across the back of the front seats draws inspiration from the iconic Eames chair, while above the passengers' heads is the largest Starlight headlining ever created for a Rolls-Royce.

ROLLS-ROYCE GHOST ENTREPRENEURS' ICON, MORE POLISHED AND REFINED THAN EVER. The Ghost shares many similarities with the Phantom, offering the same floating steering wheel and rear-hinged back doors. The latest models also boast an eight-speed automatic gearbox that uses sat-nav technology to select the appropriate gear for the road ahead. The supple, air-sprung suspension ensures that travelling in the Ghost feels almost like gliding rather than driving, while thorough soundproofing throughout means that engine and other outside noise is reduced to a barely-audible hum. But make no mistake, this imposing car can also deliver powerful acceleration when required thanks to the twin-turbo, direct-injection V12 engine. Finished in leather, chrome, brushed aluminium and wood veneers, the stunning interior is incredibly well designed. The double front bulkhead ensures noise barely intrudes on the peaceful cabin, and the highest-quality finishes throughout make the Wraith an indulgent-feeling car that you'll be happy to linger in.

Rolls-Royce stylists have given their creativity free rein for the Black Badge series, and the result is a Wraith that sends a frisson of excitement down the spine even when it's parked at the kerbside. The wheels command attention; as black as night itself, the rims are made from carbon-fibre composite bonded to aircraft-grade aluminium hubs. As well as looking effortlessly cool, they also reduce unsprung weight, to the benefit of handling. Externally, brightwork becomes darkwork. This includes the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy and the Double R badge as well as front grille surround, boot lid finisher, lower air inlet finisher and exhaust pipes. A new shade of paint, Black Badge Black, complements the look to perfection though owners are free to specify any colour they wish. The 6.6-litre twin turbocharged V12 effortlessly churns out 624bhp and 642lb ft and is capable of speeding the Wraith Black Badge from 0-62mph in just 4.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of 155mph. The GPS-guided gearbox – which automatically adjusts the gear based on what's ahead – ensures a smooth ride, whatever the road conditions. Despite the car's supersized proportions and nearly two and half ton weight, it's light on its feet – in fact, you'll feel more like you're gliding than driving. And, as usual with Rolls-Royce cars, the sweeping roof line, imposing grille and sheer size of the Wraith Black Badge ensures you'll attract attention wherever you go.

The Black Badge Wraith gets an extra dash of panache when it comes to the interior too. The dashboard and door-tops use an aluminiumthreaded carbon fibre composite, while the air vents are darkened using a technique called Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD), which prevents discoloration. There are ventilated front seats, a Rolls-Royce Bespoke audio system and lambswool floor mats too. Even the Spirit of Ecstasy gets a makeover and is adorned in a high gloss black finish rather than the usual silver.

ROLLS-ROYCE DAWN AN ELEGANT, SENSUOUS NEW DROPHEAD OF IMPECCABLE PEDIGREE. If the Phantom is Rolls-Royce at its most imposing, the Ghost a Rolls-Royce for the new global entrepreneur and the Wraith a grand tourer of imperious performance, the Dawn brings sensuality, beauty and the hedonism of open-air motoring to the stable. If a car can be sexy, this can - and is. True to Rolls-Royce tradition, Dawn features a fabric roof. But it also had to deliver a hushed driving experience. So the roof is exceptionally well insulated, making it the quietest convertible car in the world. It can also be operated at up to 30mph, raising or lowering in 22 seconds in a 'silent ballet' of precisely timed movements. ROLLS-ROYCE CULLINAN SUPER-LUXURY SUV THAT TAKES THE WORLD IN ITS STRIDE. From very first view Cullinan is a powerful and assertive design, with the V-shape of the bonnet standing well proud of the front wings and leading towards the familiar Palladian Rolls-Royce grille topped by the Spirit of Ecstasy. It shares a close resemblance to the front of the new Phantom, with which it shares body architecture, but the treatment of the front bumper and air intakes gives a more rugged, warrior-like face. The large passenger compartment leads to a fastback split tailgate with a vestigial 'boot' or bustle, which Rolls-Royce calls a 'D-back' format. For the rear compartment, owners can choose between lounge seating and individual. Lounge seating can accommodate three abreast and will be the choice of family owners, while the individual option includes two seats separated by a fixed rear centre console drinks cabinet with Rolls-Royce whisky glasses and decanter, champagne flutes and refrigerator. Whichever format is chosen, the rear passengers sit higher than those in front to enjoy the view from Cullinan's large side windows and panoramic glass roof. Cullinan's aluminium 'architecture of luxury' body structure, elements of which are shared with the Phantom, provides immense torsional rigidity that results in exceptional refinement, ride comfort and off-road ability. Rolls-Royce's latest generation self-levelling air suspension has been engineered to cope with the demands of off-road driving while still delivering the inimitable RollsRoyce 'magic carpet' ride.

Inside, driver and passengers enter a compartment of flawless luxury, with a completely flat floor and Goodwood's hand-craftsmanship throughout. Upon touching the start button, Cullinan raises up by 40mm, giving a commanding view on the move without requiring occupants to climb up to enter the cabin. The driver's instrument panel is now fully digital, with beautifully designed virtual needles, and there's a new touch-sensitive central instrument screen to allow access to infotainment, vehicle set-up and map views.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan has conquered the world's wildest reaches, and now the Black Badge Cullinan is taking on new urban frontiers. It is the darkest definition yet of Effortless, Everywhere. The Cullinan Black Badge is defined by its exterior; the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot is presented in high gloss black chrome and, for the first time, this finish extends onto its mounting plate, creating the darkest Black Badge yet. The 'Double R' badge on the front, flanks and aft invert to become silver-on-black, while chrome surfaces such as the front grille surround, side frame finishers, boot handle, boot trim, lower air inlet finisher and exhaust pipes are darkened. Cullinan's imposing proportions and confident stance are dramatised by all-new 22-inch forged alloy wheels, reserved exclusively for Black Badge Cullinan. Key to the visceral thrill of Black Badge Cullinan is the Architecture of Luxury, Rolls-Royce's allaluminium architecture, which has been extensively reengineered for Black Badge while retaining the peerless quality of ride that has driven Rolls-Royce's success. When the driver presses the 'Low' button situated on the gear selection stalk, they unlock Black Badge Cullinan's full suite of technologies. The 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 asserts itself through an entirely new exhaust system, announcing its arrival with a deep growl. An extra 29PS and 50Nm of torque are generated over and above the Silver Badge model, for a total of 600PS and 900Nm.

The interior borrows a Sir Henry Royce philosophy – "when it does not exist, design it" – with the introduction of a brand new Technical Carbon veneer. This naked-weave carbon-fibre finish has been developed to create highly accurate repeating geometrical shapes that produce a powerful three-dimensional effect. Each leaf of Technical Carbon is finished with six coats of lacquer before being left to cure for 72 hours then hand-polished to Rolls-Royce's hallmark mirror finish. This process takes 21 days.
