McLAREN 570S The 570S CoupĂŠ is as equally suited at home, or on the track as it is on the open road. With the lightest weight in its class and the highest power to weight ratio, its dramatic, futuristic design is as eye-catching as it is functional. The distinctive nose of the 570S is inspired by McLaren Formula 1â&#x201E;˘ race cars, shrink-wrapped dihedral doors are intricately contoured to channel cool air to the engine bay and 'flying buttress' rear pillars create an athletic silhouette while increasing downforce for reassuring handling. The thrill of driving is key to every interaction with the car. Steering feel, agility, precision and adjustability are all enhanced, thanks to the McLaren obsession of reducing mass. The high power output, combined with the lightweight carbon fibre structure, means the 570S CoupĂŠ delivers a class leading power-to-weight ratio of 428bhp per tonne. The breathtaking performance provided by the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine of the 570S provides acceleration from 0 - 62mph in just 3.2 seconds. But it's not all about outright performance. It's about the breadth of ability across all types of roads that makes the Sports Series models truly rewarding by providing levels of comfort that keep you wanting to drive mile after mile. McLAREN 570S SPIDER The McLaren 570S Spider, launched at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2017 is the newest model in the Sports Series range. The front of the 570S Spider is strikingly low, creating a poised stance that emphasises the mid-engined layout. The crisp contours of the bonnet pierce the air and channel it over fluid, sculpted surfaces towards the side intakes and rear of the car which helps to achieve a top speed of 204mph. The car uses the same mechanism as other McLaren models and the lightweight retractable hardtop takes just 15 seconds to disappear neatly into the beautifully crafted tonneau deck, even when you're driving at up to 25mph. Despite the advanced mechanism that makes the roof completely disappear into the car, 52 litres of luggage space is available at the rear when the roof is up. Another 150 litres is at the front, making the Spider an ideal choice for that long weekend away. The dihedral doors are an iconic design feature on every McLaren. As well as making it easier to get in and out, these intricate doors guide air into the side intakes to feed the radiators. An unintended benefit of the 570S Spider is that more people can appreciate the elegant interior when the roof is down. It features the finest hand-stitched leather, satin-chrome highlights and a 'floating' centre console. The result is an environment where you feel fully engaged to exploit the Spider's inspiring performance, while being equally at ease to enjoy the exceptional comfort on longer journeys. A seven-inch touchscreen accesses the intuitive McLaren IRIS infotainment system. McLAREN 570GT The sensational 570GT brings together all the dynamic hallmarks of the Sports Series, but with a greater emphasis on luxury and comfort. The 570GT combines McLaren's race derived technologies and supercar performance with an increased focus on usability and refinement. Built around the same lightweight carbon fibre chassis as the 570S CoupĂŠ, its aerodynamically optimised form features a distinctive new fastback-style rear-end with a panoramic glass roof, larger side windows and a side-opening rear glass hatch giving access to the touring deck and additional load space. Inside, the 570GT delivers a sporting, yet luxurious interior. Refinement, comfort, stowage space and visibility have all been enhanced to provide a car capable of long distance touring, with levels of performance, handling and precision that will satisfy even the most demanding of drivers.
