Experience a Young at Heart holiday....
! t s b r e a u g r o s . y . e .we’ll do th k c Pa
Small group holidays Young at Heart Holidays commenced twenty one years ago as a specialist providing holidays for the “mature age” traveller. Malcolm drove the coach and Jennifer arranged the bookings. Between them they now have almost sixty years combined tourism experience. Their detirmination to provide quality holidays was most important and their attention to detail always ensured travellers were able to relax in comfort and enjoy a holiday they would never forget. Young at Heart continues to offer the same quality holidays, designed specifically for the “60 and over” traveller. Every member of our staff is dedicated to providing the best holiday and giving the best service possible. Our greatest reward remains the increasing number of satisfied customers who travel with us again and again, and who tell others about the great time they had with Young at Heart Holidays. Many passengers have enjoyed over twenty holidays with Young at Heart, travelling with us since our beginning. We invite you to share the Young at Heart experience, again or for the first time, in 2010.

Birdsville Track
The Birdsville Track started out as a stock route from the outback stations of Queensland, the Northern Territory and News South Wales to Port Augusta in South Australia. Drovers with mobs of cattle of a thousand or more travelling south, and Afghan cameleers driving camel trains of up to a hundred camels north carrying station supplies, were common before the days of motor transport. From the 1930’s to 1960’s the legendary “Outback Mailman” Tom Kruze delivered mail and supplies along this route. Today, the Track is one of Australia’s most famous outback roads. 16 days. England and Wales Midsomer Murders Country “Midsomer County” – and sadly, Inspector Tom Barnaby too – is the invention of a TV series script writer. The marvellous locations, however, are real – the thatched roofs, the quaint half-timbering, the village greens, the winding cobbled village laneways and the stone churches. The countryside of England and Wales is dotted with small villages that beg to be used as film sets and many of them have featured in TV series like Midsomer Murders, The Vicar of Dibley, Inspector Morse, Miss Marple – even Fawlty Towers. Others have provided the setting for films such as Jane Austen’s Emma and Persuasion, The French Lieutenant’s Woman, Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang and various film adaptations of Thomas Hardy’s novels.
Come with Young at Heart as we explore the lanes and villages of the rural English and Welsh countryside of literature, film and TV fame. 26 days Departs Wednesday, September 1, 2010 Fare: $19,350 p.p.t.s. $1,700 s.s.
