Legal Competency Programme for District and Administrative Officers OVERVIEW: This programme is specially designed to enhance the legal competency of the Sarawak’s Administrative Officers who will be handling legal and statutory functions, upon appointment as Second-Class Magistrate, and in the discharge of other official duties. Effective Execution of Legal and Statutory Functions in Resident & District Office OVERVIEW: Resident and District Offices in Sarawak performs legal and statutory roles and duties as provided under relevant Acts and Ordinances. The appointment and statutory duties of administrative officers in Resident and District Offices require systematic legal competency training to equip them with adequate knowledge, skills and ability to perform the job effectively according to procedures and requirement of the law.
