____ Recruit team members and motivate them to support the Race. Each team must comprise of 10 or more registered participants. Members should officially register as a Runner, Walker, or Sleep In for the Cure participant online. ____ Be the main point of contact for your team members. ____ Pick up and distribute your team members’ bibs and shirts prior to the Race. ____ Select a meeting spot and time for your team on Race day. ____ Coach and motivate team members for success! Once your team members are registered hold a rally in your conference room or living room to help generate excitement and educate them on what being a part of the Race for the Cure means. ____ Make sure any survivors who are planning to

walk or run on November 6 register as a survivor. They will receive a special bib which will allow them and one co -survivor to enter the Survivor Tent. There they will enjoy breakfast, pick up their pink survivor shirt and can participate in the Survivor Procession, if they choose to do so. ____ Communicate and motivate your teammates throughout the Race campaign to make them aware of your team’s progress, let them know about deadlines and the Race Day schedule of events. ____ Don’t forget matching gifts! Many companies have a Matching Gift Program which can sometimes double the original donation. Be sure to ask all of your donors! ____ Enjoy the day! The Race for the Cure is meant to be a fun and meaningful day for all to support breast cancer awareness and research!
