The program allows attendees of any skill level to recreate beautiful paintings by following guided, step-by-step instructions from our professional artist. This is a great way to connect with others and enjoy monthly themed paintings.

Group Swim Lessons

Premier Recreation is proud to partner with the City of Leander to offer Starfish Aquatics Swim Lessons at the Robin Bledsoe Pool. Premier Recreation is an independent authorized provider of Starfish Swimming. Starfish Swimming is a nationally recognized swim instruction curriculum developed by the Starfish Aquatics Institute (SAI). Benchmarks are established at every stage in the program that combine both swimming and safety skills. Students participate in experiential learning activities that allow them to explore the water in a creative and comfortable environment. Correct swimming techniques are taught from the very beginning, providing an easy transition to swim team. Our swim instructors will communicate your child’s progression through the curriculum on a regular basis.

Aquatics

If student is afraid of water, can’t swim at all, will not put face in water.

If student can’t swim without support, but loves the water, will get face wet, and will jump in with assistance.

If student is not afraid of water, can float on front and back, can jump in and return to surface unassisted.

If student can swim under water or on surface and can take an occasional breath.

If student can tread water for at least 15 seconds and can swim freestyle with rotary breathing.

Stroke School

If student has achieved the Green Star Fish Award and needs to learn or refine backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.

Robin Bledsoe Pool

The Robin Bledsoe Pool will open for the 2023 summer season beginning on Saturday, May 27, through Sunday, August 13. After that, we will be open only on weekends through Labor Day.

Open Swim Hours:

Tuesday - Thursday: NOON - 6 pm

Friday - Sunday: NOON - 7 pm

Daily Rates: $3 per adult

$2 per adult (ages 55+ or military veteran)

$2 per child (ages 1 - 17)

FREE per infant(ages 0-12 months)

Season Pool Passes: Pool Passes can be purchased at the Robin Bledsoe Pool during normal public swim hours.

$100 per Couple Season Pass

$150 per Family Season Pass (up to 8 people within the same household)
