on the left here, I have a personal peroject I made for my boyfriend for valentines day :) this is a photo from Phi Mu’s winter formal last year. down below we have a photo of some of my best friends Trevor, Dan and Rylee. Unfortunately, this is unfinsihed and i did not have time to include Thomas and Nate. But i do plan on adding them soon! I have been having a lot of fun creating different portraits, it makes me realize the unique features on everyones face.

Happi The Cat
Happi The Cat is a short comic about appreciating what you have in your life. In the begining Happi is just hungry so he eats a little cereal, then he accidently spills it when the loud yelling spooks him. Next, Happi just wants a little loving so he hops up infront of his owner- but that backfired because aparently she was trying to do homework. Finally, Happy is nowhere to be found because of all the yelling then the owner realizes she missed Happi and her bed felt empty without Happi. I made the artistic decision to only color in Happi because without this precious animal, her life is boring and not colorful. Additionally, I chose the color orange because orange represents joy and creativity. Orange promotes a sense of general wellness and emotional energy that should be shared, such as compassion, passion, and warmth.

The left image is my depection of an angry unicorn, slimey guts, a scared cat, and a lizard. To the right , is a combination of Sophias depiction and mine. This was one of my favorite projects because I got to work in a team and create art with two different visions.
