Leanne Upsall

I'm a third year student at the University of Sunderland and l will soon graduate with a BA Hons degree in Fashion Product & Promotion and pursue a career in the fashion industry, specialising in accessories design and manufacturing. My love for accessories and handbags in particular stems back to my childhood and now I use my passion and inspiration from designers such as Mulberry and Hermes alongside other influences such as nature, fantasy, heritage, religion, culture and many more, to create luxurious and fun bespoke pieces that see my designs really come to life. My latest project sees me creating a capsule collection of 5 final leather handbags, inspired by time and the treasures it can uncover seeing prized possessions lost and found as time goes by, an idea which I created and will be the "icing on the cake" to an amazing three years of design work, to take to Graduate Fashion Week at Earls Court London from 10th - 13TH June 2012 Watch this space!
