“We imagined the living room to be like an architectural space full of different characters, each of which has a unique personality that, when mixed with others, together create a complete furniture collection for contemporary homes.” Althon and Nevyll are two different sofa systems which, connected to various, complementary satellites such as armchairs, coffee tables, poufs and bookcases, make up the backdrop against which we perform the rituals of everyday life. Soft and inviting yet accurately designed; elegant with refined details; timeless and capable of satisfying any taste. “Wir haben uns das Wohnambiente als architektonisches, von verschiedenen Darstellern bevölkertes Szenenbild vorgestellt, die alle einen eigenen Charakter besitzen und gemeinsam eine komplette Einrichtungskollektion für die zeitgenössische häusliche Wohnlandschaft bilden.” Althon und Nevyll sind zwei unterschiedliche Sofasysteme, die im Zusammenspiel mit verschiedenen ergänzenden Elementen wie Sessel, Beistelltische, Hocker und Bücherregale die alltäglichen Rituale des Wohnens in Szene setzen. Weich und einladend, aber mit rigorosem Entwurf, elegant und ausgesucht in den Details, raumübergreifend im Stil und absolut zeitlos. “Nous avons imaginé le living comme une scène architecturale peuplée de différents personnages qui ont chacun leur propre caractère et qui, ensemble, structurent une collection de meubles complète pour le paysage domestique contemporain.” Althon et Nevyll sont deux différents systèmes de canapé qui, reliés aux divers éléments satellites qui les complètent à savoir fauteuils, tables basses, poufs et bibliothèques, mettent en scène les rites quotidiens de l’espace intérieur. “Abbiamo immaginato l’ambiente living come scenario architettonico popolato da personaggi diversi, ognuno con un proprio carattere, che insieme strutturano una collezione di arredo completa per il paesaggio domestico contemporaneo.” Althon e Nevyll sono due diversi sistemi di divano che connessi ai vari satelliti che li completano, poltrona, tavolini, pouf e librerie, mettono in scena i riti quotidiani dell’abitare. Kailua stems from a concept in which cushions float on a slim surface supported by an invisible, metal mesh. Comfort is a surprise, the right proportions are a certainty. The Kailua sofa transforms elegance into comfort and intimacy. The seat and backrest proportions result in multifunctional elements, perfect to chat or relax on. The frame is covered with leather or fabric while the cushions feature contrasting or single colours. Kailua is a very discreet product, a perfect project from which nothing can be subtracted and nothing can be added. Kailua, die Idee von schwebenden Kissen auf einer dünnen Oberfläche, die ihrerseits von einem unsichtbaren Metallrahmen getragen wird. Der Komfort ist eine Überraschung, die Proportionen eine Gewissheit. Das Sofa Kailua verwandelt Eleganz in Bequemlichkeit und Intimität, die Proportionen der Sitzfläche und der Rückenlehne führen zu einem multifunktionellen Modell zum Plaudern und Entspannen. Der umlaufende Rahmen ist mit Leder oder Stoff bezogen, die Kissen heben sich durch Kontraste oder Einfarbigkeit hervor. Kailua ist ein stilles Produkt, ein Entwurf, dem nichts hinzuzufügen oder wegzunehmen ist. Kailua, l’idée que des coussins flottent sur une surface fine supportée, à son tour, par une structure métallique invisible. Le confort est une surprise, les proportions sont une certitude. Il confort è una sorpresa, le proporzioni una certezza, Kailua è un divano che trasforma l’eleganza in comodità ed intimità; le proporzioni di seduta e schienale consentono una seduta multifunzionale, conversazione, relax. Il telaio perimetrale è rivestito in pelle o tessuto, i cuscini interni evidenziano contrasti o monocromia, Kailua è un prodotto silenzioso, un progetto che non ha nulla da aggiungere o da togliere.

Kim stems from the wish to make a sofa that can be used to the full. More than a sofa, we should call it a “system” in which the bookcase module completely alters functions within domestic spaces. If your idea of a bookcase is of an accessory distinct from the sofa, with Kim it becomes part of your couch, an element at its service, creating the idea of a private niche totally dedicated to relaxation. Der Wunsch nach einem Sofa für alle Lebenslagen hat zur Erzeugung von Kim geführt. Eigentlich müsste man das Sofa eher als “System” bezeichnen, wo das Zusatzelement/Bücherregal die Funktionen innerhalb der Wohnbereiche über den Haufen wirft. Wenn wir bei Bücherregalen gewöhnlich an Möbelelemente denken, die nicht zu den Sofas gehören, so wird das Bücheregal bei Kim zum festen Bestandteil des Sofas und schafft auf diese Weise eine ganz der Entspannung gewidmete Nische. Und nicht aus Zufall findet der Entwurf Kim mit der Version Kim Relax sein natürliches Upgrade: hohe, bequeme Rückenkissen mit stufenweisem Verstellmechanismus. Le souhait d’avoir un canapé facile à vivre a donné naissance à Kim. Plus qu’un canapé, nous devrions le considérer comme un “système” où le complément/bibliothèque bouleverse totalement les fonctions à l’intérieur des espaces domestiques. Si, habituellement, nous pensons aux bibliothèques comme à des éléments complémentaires installés au dos d’un canapé, avec Kim la bibliothèque en fait partie intégrante… elle le sert en recréant une idée d’alcôve totalement vouée à la détente. Ce n’est pas un hasard si, à partir du projet initial Kim, on a créé d’une façon tout à fait naturelle la version actualisée Kim Relax: des coussins hauts, confortables, avec un mécanisme d’inclinaison à réglage progressif.

Il desiderio di ottenere un divano tutto da vivere ha prodotto Kim. Più che un divano dovremmo definirlo “sistema”, dove il complemento/libreria ribalta completamente le funzioni all’interno degli spazi domestici. Se abitualmente pensiamo alle librerie accessori come elementi aggiunti posteriormente ai divani, con Kim la libreria entra a far parte del divano… lo serve ricreando un’idea di alcova totalmente votata al relax.

An important sofa like Loman requires the type of modules that were all the rage in the 70s and have recently experienced a comeback: the circular module. Designed for convivial moments, with its very reassuring lines this module can be used to make extremely elegant, circular arrangements that easily fulfil the requirements of large hotel rooms or halls. Smaller domestic spaces can also benefit from this luxury sofa by simply using a smaller quantity of perfectly proportioned modules to make a beautiful couch. Ein eindrucksvolles Sofa wie Loman benötigte ein Modulangebot, das in den 70er Jahren absolut en vogue war und jetzt wieder voll im Kommen ist: Das Rundmodul. Dieses dem geselligen Miteinander gewidmete Modul erlaubt vor allem bei einem so vertrauenserweckenden Produkt wie Loman die Realisierung sehr vornehmer abgerundeter Zusammenstellungen, die problemlos den Anforderungen großer Säle oder Empfangshallen von Hotels gerecht werden. Aber auch kleinere private Wohnbereiche können sich mit einem erstklassigen Sofa schmücken, da man bereits mit wenigen Modulen von perfekter Größe ein schönes Sofa erhält. Un canapé important comme Loman avait besoin d’une modularité très en vogue dans les années 70 et revenue aujourd’hui à l’honneur : le module en arc de cercle. Destiné à la convivialité, ce module permet, notamment avec un modèle rassurant comme celui-ci, de réaliser des compositions très distinguées qui répondent, sans difficulté aucune, aux besoins des grandes salles ou des halls d’hôtel. Bien que plus petits, les espaces domestiques peuvent, eux aussi, s’enrichir d’un objet classe s’ils sont agencés avec moins de modules parfaitement proportionnés pour obtenir un beau canapé.

Un divano importante come il Loman necessitava di una modularità molto in voga negli anni 70 e oggi ritornata in auge: il modulo circolare. Votato al convivio questo modulo permette, soprattutto in un prodotto rassicurante come questo, composizioni circolari molto signorili che soddisfino senza difficoltà esigenze proprie alle grandi sale o hall alberghiere. Gli spazi domestici più contenuti possono altresi arricchirsi di un divano di classe se gestiti con meno moduli perfettamente proporzionati per ottenere un bel divano.

Paired with sofas arranged into an island to favour conversation, or standing by itself next to a coffee table for a comfortable read, Nathy is always an iconic presence on the domestic scene. Sheets of natural leather are stretched over the wooden frame of the armchair to define and contain the shape of the soft, wraparound seat and backrest cushions. Im Doppelpack oder einzeln, mit einem oder mehreren Sofas in der Plauderecke, mit einem Beistelltisch für die behagliche Lesestunde ... Nathy wird stets zum Kultobjekt der häuslichen Szene. Die Struktur aus Holz ist teilweise mit Stücken aus Naturleder bespannt, die die Formen nachzeichnen und den weichen bequemen Kissen der Sitzfläche und der Rückenlehne Halt geben. Utilisé seul, ou par deux, en renfort des canapés dans les espaces de conversation, avec une table basse pour se plonger dans la lecture, le fauteuil Nathy est une présence iconique de l’espace domestique. Sur la structure en bois, on a tendu des feuilles de cuir naturel qui dessinent les formes et qui soutiennent les coussins moelleux et enveloppants de l’assise et du dossier.

In coppia o singola, con i divani nelle isole di conversazione, con un tavolino per immergersi nella lettura, Nathy è presenza iconica della scena domestica. Sulla struttura in legno sono tesi fogli di cuoio naturale che disegnano le forme e contengono i cuscini morbidi e avvolgenti di seduta e schienale.

Sartorial details become a project. The Cut armchair stands out for its discretion. Its harmonious lines reveal all the comfort enclosed in a moulded shell, interrupted by bold stitching that sets off its shape and divides its volumes. The armchair is designed as if it were a bag: at once functional yet elegant but, above all, able to mix and match with lots of different sofa models and types. Ein Detail des Schneiderhandwerks wird zum Entwurf. Cut ist ein Sessel, der sich durch fehlenden “Geltungsdrang” auszeichnet. Der harmonische Umriss enthüllt die ganze Bequemlichkeit der fassonierten Sitzschale, die von tiefen durchgehenden Nähten unterbrochen wird, die die Form der Module nachzeichnen und unterbrechen. Der Sessel wird wie eine Handtasche interpretiert, die gleichzeitig zweckmäßig und elegant ist, aber vor allem immer zu den verschiedenen Arten und Modellen der Sofas passt. Le détail digne de la haute couture devient projet. Cut, qui est un fauteuil qui ne veut pas avoir la vedette, se caractérise par des contours harmonieux dévoilant tout le confort renfermé dans une coque galbée dont les surpiqûres servent à la fois à tracer et à interrompre les volumes. Le fauteuil est interprété comme un sac à main, à la fois fonctionnel et élégant, mais surtout pouvant s’associer aux différents types et modèles de canapés.

Il dettaglio sartoriale diventa progetto. Cut è una poltrona caratterizzata da una “assenza” di protagonismo, dove l’outline armonico svela tutta la comodità racchiusa in un guscio sagomato interrotto da cuciture passanti che ne accennano ed interrompono i volumi. La poltrona è interpretata come una borsa, funzionale ed elegante allo stesso tempo, ma soprattutto accostabile alle varie tipologie e modelli di divani.

Il taglio diventa uno strumento di leggerezza e di carattere, ma allo stesso tempo consente un rivestimento delle superfici con pelle e tessuto. La poltrona è interpretata come una borsa, funzionale ed elegante allo stesso tempo, ma soprattutto accostabile alle varie tipologie e modelli di divani.

Cuts become a way to achieve lightness, adding character while favouring the possibility of upholstering the armchair with leather and fabric. Der Einschnitt wird zu einem Instrument, das Leichtigkeit und Charakter schenkt, gleichzeitig aber auch den Bezug der Oberflächen mit Leder und Stoff erlaubt. Der Sessel wird wie eine Handtasche interpretiert, die gleichzeitig zweckmäßig und elegant ist, aber vor allem immer zu den verschiedenen Arten und Modellen der Sofas passt.

La découpe réalisée au bas de l’accoudoir devient un motif de légèreté et de caractère, mais, en même temps, elle permet d’habiller les surfaces avec un revêtement en cuir et en tissu. Le fauteuil est interprété comme un sac à main, à la fois fonctionnel et élégant, mais surtout pouvant s’associer aux différents types et modèles de canapés.

A complementary furniture collection consisting of various shapes and sizes, featuring metal frames and wooden or veined marble tops. Large, low coffee tables stand in front of sofas, long and narrow bookcases are designed to frame them while a round pouf and a small desk complete the living room area. Kollektion aus Zusatzelementen mit verschiedenen Formen und Zuschnitten, mit Rahmen aus Metall und Platten aus Holz oder geadertem Marmor. A slim yet sturdy frame turns into a set of round coffee tables available with one or two tops and in two heights. The surfaces are made of eucalyptus wood with bevelled edges and are available in brown or ash grey. The unsymmetrical shaped bench can partially cover the sofa and be used as a magazine stand or as a low desk. Eine schlanke, aber robuste Struktur führt zu einer Reihe von runden Beistelltischen mit einer oder zwei Platten in zwei Höhen. Die Tischplatten bestehen aus Eukalyptusholz mit abgekantetem Profil im Farbton Braun oder Aschgrau. Die Bank mit asymmetrischem Umriss wird zu einer auf den Polsterelementen auflegbaren Platte und dient so als praktische Zeitungsablage und Minischreibpult. Une structure fine, mais robuste, permet de développer une série de tables de salon rondes avec un ou deux plateaux et avec deux hauteurs au choix. Les plateaux avec chants inclinés sont réalisés en eucalyptus et déclinés dans les teintes marron ou gris cendre. Le banc au contour asymétrique devient un plan à poser sur un élément rembourré et un utile accessoire porte-revues ou mini-bureau.

Una struttura esile ma robusta sviluppa una serie di tavolini tondi con top singoli o a doppia altezza. I piani sono realizzati in eucalipto con profilo smussato e con colorazione marrone o grigio cenere. La panca con outline asimmetrico diventa un piano sovrapponibile agli elementi imbottiti ed un utile accessorio portariviste e miniscrittoio.

The main theme of the Aulos line is the colour of its transparent glass. A metal frame is the most elementary load-bearing system there is. Five, very unusual, transparent shades are available while two heights make for two different sizes. The largest coffee table features unsymmetrical legs which enhance the unique personality of this collection. Die Farbe des transparenten Glases ist das Hauptthema der Serie Aulos. Die Metallstruktur erweist sich als das bestmöglichste elementare Stützsystem. Fünf völlig ungewohnte transparente Farbtöne. Zwei Höhen für zwei Größen. Die asymmetrische Anordnung der Stützbeine des größeren Beistelltischs verstärkt den einzigartigen Charakter dieser Kollektion. La couleur du verre transparent est le thème porteur de la série Aulos. La structure métallique est le système de support le plus élémentaire possible. Cinq teintes transparentes tout à fait inusuelles. Deux hauteurs pour deux dimensions. L’asymétrie dans la distribution des pieds de la table de salon de plus grande dimension renforce le caractère unique de cette collection.

Il tappeto diventa una tela pittorica su cui riprodurre un semplice gesto artistico legato all’uso del pennello. La particolare lavorazione a telaio del tappeto diventa una superficie perfetta per evidenziare la texture grafica, che si sovrappone alle cromie dei grigi e dei beige.

The rug becomes a painter’s canvas on which a simple, artistic gesture is represented by a brushstroke. The original loom-woven surface of the rug perfectly sets off the graphic texture that stands out from the underlying grey and beige shades. Der Teppich wird zu einer Malerleinwand, auf der eine simple, mit der Verwendung des Pinsels verbundene Bewegung wiedergegeben wird. Die besondere Rahmenverarbeitung des Teppichs bildet eine perfekte Oberfläche, um die grafische, sich von den grauen und beigen Farbtönen abhebende Textur zu betonen. Le tapis devient une toile sur laquelle on peut reproduire un simple geste artistique lié à l’utilisation du pinceau. La réalisation particulière sur métier à tisser du tapis devient une surface parfaite pour mettre en évidence la texture graphique qui se superpose aux couleurs des gris et des beiges.

Stylized, rippled water becomes a surface covered with perfectly imperfect, irregular lines. The balance between the graphic decor and the colour makes for a rug that unobtrusively adds a decorative touch to any room, becoming a unifying force, a bonding agent that connects the various living room elements. Die Stilisierung einer Meereskräuselung verwandelt sich in eine Oberfläche mit unregelmäßigen, auf perfekte Weise unvollkommenen Linien. Das Gleichgewicht zwischen Grafik und Farbe materialisiert sich zu einem Teppich, der dem Raum ein dekoratives, aber absolut unaufdringliches Motiv hinzufügt und dadurch zum Verbindungmitteln zwischen den verschiedenen Elementen des Wohnraums wird. La stylisation d’une vague devient une surface de lignes irrégulières, parfaitement imparfaites. L’équilibre entre signe graphique et couleur se matérialise dans un tapis qui ajoute un motif décoratif à l’espace sans être envahissant. Voilà pourquoi il se transforme en un objet permettant de lier et de souder les divers éléments qui composent le living.
