Sweet and Savory Cooking Classes with Chef Michele Attention all sweet and savory food lovers, we have a great series of kitchen classes for you. Whether you’re new to cooking and baking or an enthusiast, our session classes will teach you how to create new dishes in the comfort of your own kitchen. Join Michele for fun, hands-on and real-time classes that cover everything from baking to cooking. Each week we’ll offer you a new sweet or savory experience. Pick the sessions you want, pay the per session fee and receive your prep packet for each class. The session fee is per household so you can have as many cooks in your kitchen as you like. Classes are two to three hours, unless otherwise noted. Each class is a password-protected Zoom session and you’ll receive an email with a session ID and password 30 minutes prior to your class. Cakes could be your next great passion. Join award-winning Sugar Artist and Food Network Competitor, Michele Sweeney, for a fun-filled class on the basics of cake making from start to finish. In this hands-on beginner class, you will learn to bake the perfect cake, make different types of butter cream, receive step-by-step guidance in piping techniques and experience the excitement of making your cake a work of art. Discover how easy it is to create the perfect dessert for any occasion in a collaborative and supportive environment. This is a six-week course with one baking class held via Zoom, the rest inperson. Russian Tips in Buttercream Design Come join Michele Sweeney as she shows you how to create some fun buttercream designs you can use on your special desserts. We will be using specialty Russian tips to create festive holiday designs along with buttercream frosting. You will leave class with six decorated dessert designs. Decorating with Fondant Have you taken our Intro cake series or a cake decorating class elsewhere? Are you craving more hands on projects to expand your basic skills? Come join award winning Sugar Artist and Food Network Competitor, Michele Sweeney for this four-week course. Michele will teach you how to use fondant to decorate various types of treats. Each week you will learn something new from covering a cake with fondant, to making flowers and other embellishments using fondant. Michele will even show you how to make your own homemade fondant.
