Kora Kerplunk was
a puzzling young child,
With muck-covered clothes
and hair that was wild.
She was
messy and
feisty and
liked to
play rough,
but most of all she loved to
lick yucky stuff.
Kora was stunned when she
read her tongue’s letter,
but thought that some breakfast would make her feel better.
She went to the kitchen
and sat in her seat,
but without her tongue she just couldn’t eat!
Day after day
not having her tongue
Kora struggled with life, caused her nothing but strife.
