Lean Six Sigma: Yellow Belt Course Number: 3991 Duration: 2 Days In two consecutive half day sessions, this practical and hands-on Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt course trains you to know the origin and aims of Lean, Six Sigma, and Lean Six Sigma, as well as understand the roles and responsibilities within a Lean Six Sigma Team. You learn the terms, tools, and DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methods and definitions, how to apply the basics of Six Sigma, and lean to a process. Use Lean Six Sigma tools to apply important measures and recover when a problem occurs. A toolbook and the aftertraining quiz are included. Training accredited by Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth: Professional certification is a process in which a person proves that he or she has the knowledge, as a basis, for performing a specific job. The proof comes in the form of a certification earned by passing quizzes, an exam, case studies, actual case or some combination of these items that are provided by an accredited organization. Exam Information Online, open book, multiple choice. Dartmouth College, Thayer School of Engineering, will issue a certificate of completion, in PDF format, to participants who complete the workshop with appropriate attendance and pass the take home quiz.
