Project Goal Statement Concept Diagram Abstract Organizational Images Spatial Concept Model Abstract Materiality Images

Goals Projects Essential Purpose

To create a residential space for the client to escape from the public eye. To provide a place affording privacy, peace and quiet. The residence should screen out the public environment, to allow the client to refocus himself on his personal life. The house should allow the client to do focused work and meet with people in a more private and secluded environment.

Main Goals

The main goal is to create a space that is functional for an everyday casual lifestyle while at the same time flexible enough for entertaining friends and family. The client should be able to move about comfortably through the spaces. The residential grounds will accommodate a guest house for an on site personal assist and domestic assistant when needed.

Dominant features and Space program

Private and public spaces are well divided to meet the needs of the client. There is an open plan to accommodate the need for flexibility. Music studio located in the public zone, a gym located in the activity zone and the upstairs will include interior garden.

Basic program

Open Kitchen/dining/living, three bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, gym, office, music studio, and patio

Crucial aspect of the project

The furniture atmosphere and ascetic match the personality of the client it should be an immediate decompression from busy life. The project should easily afford or the hobbies and the interest of Bruno Mars.

Concept

My spatial concept was inspired by my clients work. Diagramming sheet music from his latest album.

Spatial Concepts

Dressed Ceiling

The treatment of large sections of a ceiling plane that is dressed by three-dimensional materials or objects that enliven the plane in terms of decoration or ornamentation.

Slat

Slat describes screens composed of regularly spaced thin strips of material, typically wood, and oriented in either a horizontal or vertical direction.

Inscape

Inscape uses natural or artificial outdoor elements as a strategy to create exterior landscapes on the interior. Inscape may be subject to thematic design strategies.
