FA 172.2 Digital Design Procedures Advanced Graphic Design Course Description

FA 172.2 is a course focused on the continued study of design in communication, combining theoretical studies with applied problems in graphic design. Moreover, FA 172.2 utilizes the students’ design skills to improve their creative process and judgments. Course Objectives

By the end of the semester, students should be able to • Gain knowledge and understanding in different design issues and topics • Challenge the students’ creative skills • Develop the students’ creative critical thinking • Produce his/her individual final project (baby thesis).

FA 172.2 Digital Design Procedures: Advanced Graphic Design Attendance Complete attendance is, as in all other classes, expected. Students are entitled to 3 cuts. A student drops the course at 3 cuts and a late. Attendance will be monitored by the class beadle. Lab Policies Students enrolled in FA 172.2 have access to any free computers and may bring their own computers and use the studio’s wireless network at all times. All students must comply with all the lab policies. Submission of Requirements Students are required to join the schoology account of their respective sections. The schoology account acts as the submission box for the course’s projects. Students must be able to upload their projects in schoology the night before their FA 172.2 classes. Any work submitted by 12:00 am will be considered late - the highest mark of a late work is D (1.00).
