Beim Medicinicum Lech werden die Schnittpunkte von Ernährungsmedizin, Gesundheitspolitik, (Ess)Kultur und auch Philosophie von Experten vorgetragen und mit dem Publikum diskutiert. Hochkarätige Wissenschaftler und Experten aus der Praxis laden zu spannenden Diskussionen ein.

Das Musikfestival wird 2015 an fünf aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen ein vielschichtiges Programm bieten, das allen traditionellen Ansprüchen gerecht wird. Das Lecher Festival Orchester und beim Abschlusskonzert auch der Lecher Festival Chor begleiten hervorragende, international bewährte Vokal- und Intrumentalsolisten. Neben der Pflege der klassischen Violinliteratur werden erstmals auch Klavierkonzerte auf dem Programm stehen: das Klavierkonzert KV 414 in einer von Mozart selbst eingerichteten Streichquartettfassung, Beethovens Tripelkonzert und das Doppelkonzert von Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. Der König der Konzertflügel, ein „Fazioli“, wird dabei auch erstmals zum Einsatz kommen. Zum Abschluss werden Händels „Messias“ und das „Mozart Requiem“ zur Aufführung gebracht. Schauplatz dieser Veranstaltung ist der wunderschöne und akustisch hervorragende Sakralraum der Neuen Kirche Lech. 11.07.2015 Das Lecher Dorffest beginnt traditionell mit einem Platzkonzert der einheimischen Trachtenkapelle Lech, bei welchem mit Fassanstich und klingendem Spiel das urtümliche Volksfest eröffnet wird. Verschiedenste Lecher Betriebe versorgen die Gäste mit lokalen Spezialitäten, so dass einem geselligen Sommerfest nichts im Wege steht. www.lech-zuers.at/lecher-dorffest

9. Lecher Bildhauertage
Beim 8. Lecher Musikantentag treffen sich Volksmusikanten, Sänger und Tänzer in Lech am Arlberg und verwandeln den Ort in eine festliche Klangwolke. Ab 11:00 Uhr spielen und singen die Volksmusikanten auf Hütten und Almen, in gepflegten Gärten, auf sonnigen Terrassen oder in urigen Stuben. Um 19:00 Uhr gestalten zahlreiche Musikanten den Gottesdienst in der Neuen Kirche Lech. Anschließend trifft man sich noch zum geselligen Abschluss mit Musik und Tanz.

Kunst schaffen zwischen Natur- und Kulturlandschaft Kunstschaffende sind Künstler – Künstler bilden die Wirklichkeit nicht ab, sondern stellen sie dar. Mag. LegeArtis – Qualität und Internationalität Von 11. bis 15. September 2015 wird es einen Konzertreigen geben, der Außergewöhnliches verspricht. Von Alter Musik über die Klassik und Romantik hin zur Neuen Musik und weiter zum Swing und Jazz. Das Festival spannt einen Bogen von Rezitals über Musikkabarett bis zur Kammermusik mit der hohen Kunst des Streichquartetts bis zu Solistenkonzerten. www.lech-zuers.at/festival-legeartis-lech
19. Philosophicum Lech 16. – 20.09.2015 Das herbstliche Lech wird von 16. bis 20. September zum bereits 19. Mal Forum für Philosophen und Vertreter anderer Wissenschaften zum höchst gegenwartsnahen Thema „Neue Menschen. Bilden, optimieren, perfektionieren.“
Arlberg – Pass.Region.Marke In drei Ausstellungen in Lech, St. Anton und Stuben wird ab Dezember 2014, ausgehend von den mittelalterlichen und frühneuzeitlichen Beschreibungen des Arlbergs, das Werden der „Marke Arlberg“ bis in die Gegenwart nachgezeichnet. Ausstellungsorte sind das Museum Huber-Hus in Lech am Arlberg, das Museum „St. Anton am Arlberg“ und der Vorraum der Kirche in Stuben. Die Ausstellungen werden von Christof Thöny kuratiert und in einem gemeinsamen Folder präsentiert und laden so zu einem grenzüberschreitenden Kennenlernen des Arlbergs ein.

Following a detailed learning program, the popular painter Gerhard Mangold demonstrates the creation of a watercolour.

The Lech Festival Orchestra, joined by the Lech Festival Choir for the closing concert, will accompany superb, internationally acclaimed vocal and instrumental soloists. Alongside fostering the classical violin repertoire, piano concertos will be on the programme for the first time. For example, piano concerto KV 414 in a string quartet version arranged by Mozart himself, Beethoven‘s Triple Concerto and Mendelssohn‘s Double Concerto. The king of the concert grands, a „Fazioli“, will also be used for the first time. And events will be rounded off by performances of Handel‘s „Messiah“ and the „Mozart Requiem“. The venue for this event is the beautiful sacred space in Lech‘s New Church with its superb acoustics. The Lech Village Festival always starts with a concert by the local traditional Lech Town Band, in which with keg tapping and festive music the Lech village festival officially opens. Various hosts provide local specialities and guarantee a comfy, chummy summer festival.
At the 8th Musicians Day Lech, folk musicians, singers and dancers meet in Lech am Arlberg and turn the village into a festive haze of sound. At 11 a.m., musicians will play and sing in huts and alpine meadows, in well-kept gardens, on sunny terraces and in rustic rooms. At 7 p.m., numerous groups will put on a musical service in the Lech parish church. Then everyone will get together again to bring the evening to a sociable conclusion with music and dancing.

9th Sculptors Days 9/8 – 14/8/2015 Creating art between the natural and cultural landscape This seminar covers the subject of the visual arts in both visual and theoretical. The content is aimed to people involved in the visual arts and those who would like to be. People involved in the visual arts are artists. Artists do not depict reality but express it. Mag. 19th Philosophicum Lech 16/9 – 20/9/2015 In autumn, from the 16th to the 20th September, Lech will host this forum for philosophers and representatives of other scientific disciplines for the 19th time on the highly topical theme of „New People! Creating, optimising and perfecting.“
Arlberg – Pass.Region.Brand The development of the „Arlberg brand“, starting with descriptions of Arlberg in the Middle Ages and early modern period right through to the present, will be portrayed in three exhibitions in Lech, St. Anton and Stuben from December 2014. The exhibitions are located in the Huber-Hus museum in Lech am Arlberg, the St. Anton am Arlberg museum and the vestibule of the church in Stuben. The exhibitions are curated by Christof Thöny and presented in a joint folder, inviting you to a cross-border opportunity to learn about Arlberg.
