Mercedes-Benz Offroad Experience The Lech Offroad Experience in the Zugertal, from December 2013 until March 2014. Find out how exciting an idyllic winter wonderland can be when you are on a completely different kind of mountain ride. This Offroad Experience will add another dimension to your stay in the beautiful Zugertal. You can register by phone, online, or in the Mercedes-Benz Pavilion at Hotel Arlberg from December 2013. Our pavilion is also the meeting point for your transfer to the off-road winter driving course on the Fischteich Lech. The climbing wall at sport.park.lech offers you an athletic challenge, regardless whether you are bouldering or climbing to the ceiling. No experience necessary. Aim of the climbing lesson: To have lots of fun learning how to climb, learning about knots and the associated safety techniques.
Huber-Hus The Huber-Hus Museum is on the Schlosskopfplatz. The traditional wooden Walserhaus built in 1590 invites you to find out about the life and work of farmers. Kästle Mountain Museum You will find Lech’s Kästle Mountain Museum in the top station of the Rüfikopf II cable car. Marvel at historic artwork, ski designs from bygone times and many other items on display from the history of the successful Austrian ski brand. Open during the Rüfibahn operating hours.

Ice skating rink in Lech The first and only air-conditioned hotel ice rink in Europe in the Hotel Monzabon offers you 300 square metres of artificial ice for ice skating and curling. Enjoy its icy delights!

Oberlech - Lech Tremendous fun for both young and old on the floodlit, snow-covered toboggan run from Oberlech to Lech. The spectacular route also guarantees to be an unforgettable adventure for the whole family. Bobs are available for hire at the Oberlech cable-car terminal and in sports shops.

Ski bus/village bus: The local bus service in Lech offers an attractive, well developed route with short, regular intervals between busses. The fare for the blue village bus is included in the ski pass and the visitors’ card until 07:30 pm.
However, during the hard winter months when food becomes scarce, deer venture very close to populated areas and almost forget they are afraid of people. This means you can watch majestic deer feeding at dusk at close range. Experience this unusual natural spectacle from the shelter of a hide. Every Wednesday we offer guided hikes to watch the wildlife.

A selection of winter hiking trails: Walser Museum Lech-Tannberg The historic Walsermuseum is located in the fire station on the road to Stubenbach. Opening times: Monday and Wednesday, 3 pm to 6 pm. Entry is free. Special guided tours on application. Length approx. 1 hour. The opening day is the 30th December, 2013. The museum is closed on the 1st January, 2014.
