Shared Space Shared space is an urban design approach which seeks to minimise demarcations between vehicle traffic and pedestrians, often by removing features such as curbs, road surface markings, traffic signs, and regulations. Removing physical boundaries lowers the accident rate and make more gatherings. Physical boundaries such as barrier give people a distinvtive purpose, so they don’t communicate with others.
