DCON DCON or District Convention is the annual celebration of service for Key Clubs around the PNW. Just like last year, DCON was held in Portland Oregon, but this year’s theme was Destination: Service. Come to DCON next year because one, it’s a great experience to meet other key clubbers and learn about the value of service and two, it’ll be in Seattle next year!

Thank You Cards Service Project Through the generous support of the Kiwanis Club of Issaquah, the Issaquah High School Key Club has been given a variety of opportunities that make it unique from the typical extracurricular at school. From reducing the costs of DCON to providing engaging volunteer events like Salmon Days, we sincerely appreciate all they do for us. To express our gratitude, from April 24th to May 1st, our key clubbers wrote their own Thank You Cards towards the Kiwanis Club of Issaquah!

11 Editor’s Letter
Hi this is your bulletin editor and I’m excited to serve another year with you guys! There’s only about two months (and less than a month for the IHS Key Club) left for the school year so good luck to everyone, especially if you have AP/IB testing! Remember that Key Club is still active during the summer and you can get your hours ahead of time for next year’s induction! Apparently there aren’t any summer rallies (rip me cause I couldn’t go last year either) or big joint DCM this year though, but enjoy vacationing during your break (or planning your college essays lol). I also heard that DCON is supposed to be four days instead of three next year so you guys can look forward to that if you thought DCON was too short. Before I end this newsletter, Vincent wanted to be featured into it, so here’s an honorary (not really) key club member:
