Among our sustaining Island traditions are: n April Youth Fishing Derby n Booth at the Grand Old Fourth Parade celebration n Thanksgiving and Christmas turkey dinners for island seniors n Scholarship Program for students interested in natural sciences, environmental studies and earth sciences.

The Club is dedicated to both firearm and archery safety with training programs, led by certified instructors, for new sports enthusiasts. These programs include a women’s only firearm safety class and, of course, a certified Range Safety Officer is always on duty when the club is open.

Founded in 1928, the Bainbridge Island Sportsmen’s Club is the oldest community organization on the Island. This historic island institution is nestled on 17 acres of old growth forest in the middle of the Island. The Club provides members, their guests and the visiting public with access to a pistol range, rifle range, archery range, youth fishing pond and a well-used clubhouse.
