KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES

NATIVE NATIONAL PARTNERSHIP RETREAT 2015–2020

In April 2015, the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, led by Chairman Manuel Heart and Vice Chair Juanita PlentyHoles, initiated the first ever Ute Mountain Ute Tribe Native National Partnership Retreat. The event, held in Westminster, Colorado, was facilitated by Beverly Santicola, Ron Flavin, Reiner Lomb and Karina Branson and attended by 20 Tribal leaders, 20 community partners, and 40 federal agencies. During the first two days of the Retreat the Tribe and its community partners identified the most urgent problems on the reservation and developed possible solutions. On the third day state and federal partners participated in round table discussions with tribal leaders and identified resources to implement the most promising solutions. The results of the first ever Ute Mountain Ute Tribe Native National Partnership Retreat are below:
