Step 1 Start by joining the sides (400 mm x 400 mm) x 2 to the bottom (368 mm x 400 mm) x 1. Drill pilot holes for the screws and countersink them. Then apply wood glue and screw the pieces together.
Step 2 Now fasten the top (368 mm x 400 mm) x 1 to the U shape created in step 1. Again drill pilot holes, countersink them, then apply wood glue and fasten the pieces together with screws. Your first box is now complete. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to complete the other two boxes.
Step 3 Now fill the screw holes with wood filler and paint the boxes. Group them together as a book-rack or display unit or even use them separately as side tables.
