Step 4 Now that all panels are complete, it’s time to construct the actual table. Fasten the top (1084 x 400 mm) to the legs/ sides (464 x 400 mm). Drill pilot holes, apply wood glue and secure with long chipboard screws.

Step 5 Secure the storage shelf between the legs (1000 x 400 mm). Make sure the shelf is level and at the desired height before drilling pilot holes, applying wood glue and fastening with screws. The shelf will also act as a support for the legs and will strengthen the structure of the table. Fill the screw holes with wood filler and leave it to dry before sanding the table to achieve a smooth finish. Now your coffee table just needs an exterior coating, then it will be complete!
