Welcome Letter
dear friends
Wow! We’ll never forget the look on our parents’ faces—nor the tears that glistened in Mom’s eyes—as our families surprised them for their 50th wedding anniversary recently. It had been too long since we were all together and there was no denying the sheer happiness we felt to be celebrating as a family, to be sharing a precious moment like this—in person—with each other again.
As we relive this heart-warming memory, our thoughts turn to you, our Lee Michaels family. We know that over the past many months, like us, you’ve experienced a deeper longing to be with family and friends. Yes, technology has made it possible to see and hear loved ones through virtual visits, but it cannot satisfy the yearning—the need—to hug and hold each other, to be a family again.
We realize also that the emergence of the Delta variant and the devastation from Hurricane Ida have created an even deeper desire to be with those we love. We pray that you and your family will unite again soon and that, until that moment, you will find occasions to celebrate and reasons to be grateful.
Be grateful? Yes, indeed. Gratitude is the key to happiness. As author Melodie Beattie so beautifully expresses it:
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more…It turns chaos into order, confusion into clarity…It makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
Today, we are grateful for you, our Lee Michaels family. We appreciate anew the privilege it is to assist you in finding the perfect gift for celebrating life’s treasured moments—birthdays, graduations, weddings… and especially the 50th anniversary of the parents you love so much.
With warmest wishes,
