Status: Concept Design Project Brief: A Social club on a strategic location, at the marina waterfront, and facing Abu Dhabi skyline. The program of this project, was suggested by client to be divided in two parts, the first part to be integrated and accessible to the public, while the other part should be separated and limited to VIP registered members. Design Keywords - Iconic Waterfront - Clear separation of program: Public/ Private - Maximizing views to the east (marina bay), and to the south (Abu Dhabi skyline) - Dominant floating VIP club massing, limited accessibility - Urban platform smoothly integrated to the surrounding, promoting easy pedestrian access to the commercial facilities on ground level

Project Brief This studio project aims to design an urban activator, within a residential neighborhood. Enhancing the scene of community and social interaction among the neighborhood residence as the main design goal. The program includes both cultural and sport facilities. Project Brief: The project aims to find and challenge an applicable solution for an urban issue occurring in the heart of Damascus city. A visual dis-figuration created by huge modern blocks is abusing a historical monument left alone in the middle of the new city fabric.
Extended Visual Space Human Scale Friendly Internal Shaded Spaces Urban Green Platforms
Design Approach: Highlighting this monument, by creating stacked human scale units that gradually set back away from it. Meanwhile, enhancing the location skyline and extending the green platform by stacking multiple green roofs.
