Museum of Culpeper History names new Executive Director

The Board of Trustees of the Museum of Culpeper History (MCH) is pleased to announce Morgan Pierce as the Museum’s next executive director. He succeeds Lee LangstonHarrison who left to become Executive Director of the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum in January. Morgan had previously served as the chief curator of the Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses since 2013 and was responsible for the collections, interpretation, and preservation Morgan Pierce of these 19th. century National Historic Landmark properties. The historic houses earned accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums signifying its adherence to established standards and best practices in the museum field. Though most recently of New Orleans, Morgan is a native of Clarke County, Virginia and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from James Madison University in Harrisonburg and a Master of Arts degree in Arts Management from George Mason University in Fairfax. Prior to his time in New Orleans Morgan served as the Curator of Collections and Registrar of the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester for five years where he oversaw the collections and exhibitions department. Additionally Morgan has completed curatorial training programs with The Attingham Trust in England, The Victorian Society in America, and the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts. Morgan’s interest in Virginia history and decorative arts, as well as American military history, will greatly enhance the Museum’s collections and exhibition program. While adhering to the mission of the MCH his work will seek to enhance the position of the Museum among the local community, improve fundraising efforts for long-term success, and continue the excellent progress made to become “the best small community museum in

Spring is a time when new life bursts forth just about everywhere. We are especially fortunate to live in an area of almost unequaled beauty at this time of year. We have flowering trees and bushes along with flowers and grasses and even weeds that bloom and enhance our environment. You all know that in addition to this Snapshot, I have two other picture publications that I call, Faces of Culpeper. This year I wanted to find a person to add to the flowers and be the face that represented spring in Culpeper. One day as I exited Merchant Tire I saw three women deep in conversation. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) closed Waterloo Bridge in January 2014 because of its deteriorating condition. Spanning Culpeper and Fauquier Counties discussions between the two counties and VDOT came to a standstill. Estimated repairs come in at around $4 million, a cost that could be shared or not. It’s on the list of “Virginia’s Most Endangered Historical Sites.” At the time of its closing, public sentiment was favorable for saving the wrought iron truss bridge first erected in 1878 and later renovated in the early 1900s. VDOT will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, May 17, at the Warrenton Community Center located at 430 East Shirley Avenue to discuss the future of the bridge that crosses the Rappahannock River connecting Culpeper and Fauquier Counties near Waterloo Road (Route 613).

Aging Together celebrates Culpeper’s Dr. Hortense Hinton-Jackson Staff Report Aging Together Director Carol Simpson was delighted with Friday evening’s turnout at the Culpeper Country Club. “It was a fantastic event,” said Simpson of the 100 guests that arrived to pay tribute to five outstanding residents - one from each of the counties serviced by Aging Together. “What wonderful people and those who supported them were so enthusiastic.” Culpeper’s recipient Dr. Hortense Hinton-Jackson is no stranger to public speaking particularly when she can lend her voice in support of education and her advocacy children. She was the keynote speaker at the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet last November and again graced their annual women’s event - Women Lift Each Other Up - held Wednesday evening at the Daniel Technology Center. Her daughter Shani bubbled over with excitement introducing her mother as an inspiring and exuberant example in her life. Dr. Hortense Hinton-Jackson is a native of Culpeper and graduated from GW Carver Regional High School. Her career spanned 40 years as an administrator in

higher education before she retired in 2012. Dr. Hinton-Jackson served two terms as a gubernatorial appointee to the State Equal Employment Opportunity Council. In Culpeper, she has served on many community service projects with the Museum of Culpeper History and Culpeper Library, as President of the local NAACP branch, Women in Worship Ministries, and GW Carver Regional HS Alumni Association, the Trustee Board of Free Union Baptist Church, and as a gospel and jazz vocalist. Dr. Hortense Hinton-Jackson is listed in “Who’s Who Among African-Americans.” She has been a presenter, keynote speaker and workshop facilitator at local, regional and national conferences on education, African-American history, leadership development, personal and spiritual growth and cultural diversity. She continues to serve as a mentor and coach to former students and young professionals. She is the mother of three and grandmother of eight. John McCarthy The Fauquier County honoree, John W. Bev Atkins The 2017 honoree from Rappahannock County is Bev Atkins, who will tell you she’s done nothing out of the ordinary, but whose willingness to jump in and support local residents and organizations makes her one of the county’s real treasures. Bev recently retired after 33 years as Rappahannock’s Commissioner of Revenue, a position she viewed truly as a service to individuals in the community. When tax relief for the elderly was implemented, for instance, Bev didn’t just sit in her office and wait for people to come to her; she went out and visited older adults in their homes and helped them sign up. But Bev’s contribution to this community goes well beyond her professional work. It is hard to find a local organization that she has not been involved in, either as a board member, a fundraiser, or an organizer. The community groups she has supported range from Camp Fantastic, the Heart Association, the Cancer Society, the Red Cross,

RAWL, the Historical Society, Flint Hill and Sperryville Fire and Rescue squads to the Free Clinic, the Benevolent Fund, the Foothills Forum, RAAC, the Extension Service, Rapp at Home, and CCLC. Robin Corum Robin Corum moved to Madison County about 20 years ago. He has always enjoyed helping people and likes seeing them smile. He started with the Food Pantry at Madison Emergency Services Association (MESA) eight years ago when it became clear that they needed assistance in their efforts to feed over 600 people a month. Robin avidly volunteers at MESA seven days a week, routinely averaging 32 hours per week. His regular activities include coordinating food deliveries from Trader Joe’s, Fresh Market, Food Lion and Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Robin also organizes food drives and semiannual yard sales benefiting the Pantry. He has also assisted in the summer school food program. Dorren Brown Dorren Brown, Executive Director of the Orange County Free Clinic, started at the Clinic in February 2008 after retiring from 31 years in the education field. During her time as Director of the Clinic, the number of patients registered has grown from less than 100 to almost 3,000 currently.

Feel the light. When you walk into the new home of Reformation Lutheran Church now located at 601 Madison Road it’s like stepping inside a new car or freshly painted room. The space is open, airy and so light filled. Whether in the entryway, the sanctuary, the conference room, chapel or nursery, light floods in from the windows. If there are shadows, they are warm ones. He comes around the corner beaming his own aura, his steps have a spring to them and his walk seems a swagger. Pastor Brad Hales is giddy these days. Arriving some 12 years ago to accept a call in Culpeper, he has seen the congregation grow from 32 in a week to numbers soaring to several hundred. For this man of faith, it has little to do with him and more to do with the God he serves but it’s hard to deny his personal energy, enthusiasm and contagious personality. Hales recounts the early history of the church when in 1983 a small group of people wandered from homes to the old Holiday Inn finally settling in the old Clore Funeral Home on Main Street. Now, culminating a vision that started

three years ago, the congregation is in their own permanent structure. “The church can be renewed,” said Hales, “look what can happen when you focus on God’s word...it’s a powerful story what Jesus can do.” While some might see it as a challenge to bring a building to life, Pastor Hales basks in his blessings. “The people are hungry for the word of God...Culpeper is a wonderful community that is open to many faiths...I love it here.” The congregation at Reformation Lutheran Church represents a range of ages from young families to seniors. The Place, a space for seniors to drop by for coffee, conversation and connecting, continues in the new location offering ample space for weekly gatherings of the prayer shawl, a group that gets together for knitting and crocheting and sewing quilts for nonprofits like SAFE. “Imagine, these were donated,” said Hales opening the door to their conference room with a long table and boardroom style chairs. “We enjoy having staff meetings here but it’s open for people to use.” A nursery is also used for preschool classes and has its own bathroom eliminating the need for treks in the hallways and adding to security. A chapel/library room affords more quiet space. Grooms and brides rooms are available for weddings. Accommodating upwards of 170 people, their fellowship hall has a full kitchen in the works. ➤ See Reformation, Page 7

➤ Reformation, from Page 6 “I see future mission work here,” smiles Hales. “We’ll be able to do some serious cooking in here when it is finished.” As Pastor Hales proudly shows off the new rooms and added spaces for the congregation he settles in the sanctuary which truly is that. While it can seat up to 200, it is a reflective area. Pull down screens are available and the room is enhanced with a good audio/visual system. The altar is elegant in its simplicity and functionality. The ambiance welcoming. Pastor Hales gets up and turns off the main lights. The light around the cross remains casting a soft glow. “I find that so beautiful,” muses Hales, “the way the light hits the cross...looks like an angel.” It will be 23 years in June when Pastor Brad Hales celebrates his ministry. For him, the call came early. “I knew at a very young age that this is what I would be doing.”

For him, he has found his best pastoral experience to be here in Culpeper. In addition to Pastor Hales, the church has a part-time secretary, part-time church administrator, part-time youth director and part-time musician. Growing pains are coming easy for Pastor Hales. “It’s a really beautiful and functional space,” said Hales, “so full of natural light.” “We’ve gone from roughly 8,000 square feet to 12,000 square feet,” said Hales, “and it is all testament to the power of Jesus Christ.” A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Friday, April 28, at 2 p.m. followed by a formal dedication Sunday, May 7, at 10 a.m. For information about Reformation Lutheran Church, call Pastor Brad at 540825-1376 or email PastorHales@hotmail. com

HOME & GARDEN If you find a fawn, leave it alone Contributed Report It's that time of year again when white-tailed deer fawns are showing up in yards and hayfields, and concerned citizens want to know how to help. In almost all cases, the best way to help is to simply give the fawn space and leave it alone. Concerned people sometimes pick up animals that they think are orphaned. Most such "orphans" that good-intentioned citizens "rescue" every spring should have been left alone. Most wild animals will not abandon their young, but they do leave them alone for long periods of time. Fawns, born from April through July, are purposely left alone by their mothers. Female deer, called does, stay away from the fawns to avoid leading predators such as dogs or coyotes to their location. The white-spotted coat camouflages a fawn as it lies motionless in vegetation. Young fawns are “hiders” and will not try to run away

when they are approached. Does will return several times each day to move and/or feed their young. You probably will not see the doe at all since she only stays to feed the fawn for just a few minutes before leaving it alone again. Once people interfere, we reduce the opportunity for animals to receive natural care and we increase the risk of harming our wildlife heritage. Keeping deer wild in Virginia Many people find white-tailed deer beautiful and wish to rescue or keep them as pets. However, keeping wild deer is both illegal and dangerous. Even the act of moving tame or captive-reared deer may transmit harmful diseases to wild and domesticated animals and even to humans. Why deer must remain wild White-tailed deer and other native wildlife belong to no one individual. They are held in trust by the commonwealth for the benefit of all Virginians. As such, it is illegal for individuals to hold or confine deer or other wild animals without a permit (Code of Virginia §29.1- 521, 4 VAC 15-30-40). The only facilities allowed to possess native or exotic deer in the state are permitted by

the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (VDGIF) for research, educational, or rehabilitation purposes only. These facilities, operated by people trained in deer husbandry, are inspected annually for humane care and compliance with state requirements for marking, record-keeping, and disease testing. Deer, like all wild animals, are potentially dangerous to humans when threatened or confined. They become aggressive as they mature; males may attack, especially during breeding season. Since 1988, at least 45 deer have attacked humans in the United States or Canada, resulting in 54 injuries and 10 deaths. Moving deer from one place to another or confining them within captive facilities increases the risk of transmitting diseases such as Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) and Bovine Tuberculosis (TB). VDGIF remains vigilant in its attempts to prevent further spread of CWD, which is currently found in Frederick County, Virginia, and adjacent areas of West Virginia. The Germanna Community College Educational Foundation's 23rd annual Scholarship Monte Carlo Night set a fundraising record Saturday night at the Daniel Technology Center in Culpeper, raising $275,000 for scholarships for GCC students. The total smashed last year's record of $220,000. "When I tell presidents of other community colleges across the country how much this event raises, they go from disbelief to envy," Germanna President David A. Sam told a crowd of about 200. "The purpose of this event is to give students the resources they need to get an education," said Culpeper businessman and GCCEF Board member Joe Daniel, who has been the driving force behind the event. "The people who get this aid need it and it's last-dollar resources. This money truly is used to push these students over the top." Daniel told the crowd about Alisa Myers, who will graduate from the Germanna Scholars program on May 5 and has already been accepted to Shenandoah University's

pharmacology program. Myers has said she wants to come back to Culpeper to put the skills she gains to use helping the community. "She's just one of the many success stories," Daniel said. "You ought to go to a Germanna graduation," he added. "It's one of the most uplifting experiences you will ever have. You will have parents and children, children and grandparents, graduate together." This was the final Monte Carlo Night for Sam, as president of GCC. He will retire at the end of June after more than a decade of leadership. His successor will be Janet Gullickson, who had been president of Spokane (Wash.) Community College, but Sam said it won't be the last he and his wife Linda Zachmann Sam attend-that they plan to continue supporting GCC. "Our hearts will always be with Germanna," he said. "All of those of you who supported Germanna through the Great Recession, I thank you, and so do our students," Sam said. "I know you will continue to support Germanna in this event and others as Janet Gullickson-who is, I'm happy to say, our first female president--comes in." ➤ See Briefs, Page 11

Jenkins comes from her former position of Program Manager of CRI. She brings more than a decade of experience with the Main Street Program, background in the nonprofit sector, and grant and project management. She has extensive knowledge in the National Main Street Center's successful Four Point Approach for downtown revitalization. “I am elated about the opportunity to continue working with this wonderful volunteer-led organization in this capacity,” states Jenkins. “2017 promises to be a year filled with community improvements projects, and partnership opportunities. Speakers include a retired senior planner at the Army Corps of Engineers, Institute for Water Resources who is now an independent water resources planner. Also, a retired Piedmont Environmental Council Senior Energy Policy Analyst. With the proposed third nuclear reactor on the horizon for Lake Anna, the benefits of thorium over uranium fueled reactors will be discussed. Resources promoting direct action, including information about regional commuter systems (RappahannockRapidan Regional Commission), and a book club exploring titles relevant to the impact of climate change on wildlife will be available as well as hardwood seedlings complements of the John Marshall Soil and Water Conservation District and Friends of the Rappahannock. Wellspring Family Practice opened its doors at 633 Sunset Lane in October of 2016. At the helm is Dr. Khalid Athar who serves as head of the anesthesiology department at the Culpeper Surgery Center as well as Medical Director. Wellspring Health Services is a private venture for him. Dr. Athar believes that his blend of cutting edge technology and patient satisfaction will keep patients local. “We find that Moms make most of the decisions when it comes to health care. If they leave the county, chances are their children are leaving with them. If they get a referral, they are leaving again.” “We’d like to offer a reason to stay in Culpeper,” emphasized Athar during an interview last year for their medical needs. Athar is all about educating his patients as well taking care of them. It’s all state of the art when it

comes to modern medicine but it’s also about patient care with an emphasis on prevention. Last year, Dr. Athar spoke of plans to open an urgent care facility in addition to the clinic and that plan has now come to fruition. A positive approach to caring for someone with memory loss Caring for someone with memory loss can present a variety of challenges. Challenges are experienced by the person living with memory loss and by the caregiver. Stress, fatigue, anxiety, frustration and depression are just a few challenges that may arise when caring for someone with memory loss. A common type of memory loss is dementia. Dementia is not a normal part of aging. However, more and more people are being diagnosed with this disease earlier and earlier in life. With an increase in dementia diagnosis, communities are eager for information on how to cope with the challenges associated with one of the disease’s symptoms, memory loss. Independence is fostered from an early development age. As children, parents teach their children to be independent and to complete tasks on their own such as walking, talking, dressing, bathing and eating. The ability to execute these tasks from start to finish is through growth and development of the brain. The brain promotes short term and long term memory along with a variety of other functions such as language and rhythm. Dementia can

be referred to as “brain shrinkage.” As dementia progresses, the brain shrinks causing individuals to experience memory loss, loss of language and abilities to complete simple day to day tasks. Memory loss leads to decreased abilities to communicate. People living with memory loss need care partners to be able to anticipate what they want, need and think. This can be challenging as the old saying goes “we aren’t mind readers.” When dealing with memory loss, it is important that the care partner learn to pick up on what the person shows you, how they sound and their physical reactions. Learning better observational skills will help caregivers to recognize and intervene when changes in behavior happen. Approach, cueing and the ability to connect with individuals living with memory loss will play a major role in creating a positive approach for everyone involved. Notice the partner in care piece. All too often when providing care to someone, it comes natural ‘to do to’ instead of ‘to do with.’ It is important to think of caregiving as a partnership and relationship. Relationships and partnerships foster trust. It is also important to understand how humans take in and process data. The human brain takes in data five ways. Sight, sound, touch, smell and taste. When interacting with someone with memory loss, it is important to make a visual and verbal connection before touching.

Touching before making the visual verbal connection can lead to a negative reaction. This negative reaction can be caused by igniting the individuals fight or flight reaction. If you’re interested in learning more tips on positive approaches, join local experts to develop the knowledge and skills needed to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals experiencing memory loss. An all-day conference will be held Tuesday, May 9, at Daniel Technology Center in Culpeper. Speakers include Dr. Roddy Kibler, licensed mental health professional and known for his innovative approaches to dementia care; Diana Bright, certified dementia practitioner and recent graduate of Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care training. Help support the Battleship Texas Foundation Editor's note: Howard Mills, a World War II veteran from Culpeper served on the Battleship Texas. He has asked that we share this letter and information about the foundation and hope you will donate to remember those who served in World War II. Today when a young man turns 18, his birthday is usually one of joy and celebration with family and friends. When Howard Money Mill turned 18 in June of 1943, he was drafted into the service and appointed to the Navy. In August, he was given 14 weeks of basic training and then sailed from Pier 51 in NYC aboard the USS Texas. Like many of his shipmates, he was just a teenager full of excitement and fear going into the unknown perils of war. The USS Texas would be Howard's home for the next three years. He was assigned to the deck division on the starboard side of the ship. There were no bunk beds available at the time

so Howard slept in a hammock for three months. His letters to family were censored. We can only imagine the challenges of living and working with about 3,300 other young fellows under the age of 21. Howard's 19th birthday, June 6, 1944 D-Day, began in the heat of the battle. The USS Texas moved constantly, shelling bunkers on the beach and was then asked to take out a church steeple where Germans were sniping troops on the beach. The ship's gun range came up short, so the captain flooded the bow to raise the aft guns out of the water ... mission accomplished! Afterward the Texas and her men

stayed in Normandy for 52 difficult days, continuing to fight while picking up wounded rangers and German prisoners of war. This is just one part of the history of the USS Texas and sailors like Howard. They would go to the Pacific Theatre to take on another enemy in Okinawa. It was a long, hard three years for Howard and his shipmates. Help us honor their service and preserve the history of the Battleship Texas with your contribution today. Thank you. Culpeper County Sheriff ’s Office Youth Sports Camps Registration is now open for the 2017 CCSO Youth Sports Camps. The Culpeper County Sheriff ’s Office summer sports camps are designed to bring the community and law enforcement officers together to instruct children and teenagers in the community In 2012, the Sheriff ’s Office offered a football camp and a baseball camp at no cost to participants. In 2013 - 2016 and 2017 they are offering a football camp, soccer camp, baseball/ softball camp and new for 2017, a cheerleading camp, again at no cost. In each camp the basic fundamentals of each sport are taught to children aged 5 to 16. Each player will have the opportunity to learn new skills and to improve existing skills. There is a strong emphasis on sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork. The goal for each camp is to have participants use lessons related to good sportsmanship and respect on the

Verdun Adventure Bound Summer Camps Verdun Adventure Bound is proud to offer new and exciting 2017 offcampus and on-campus summer camps. Located at 17044 Adventure Bound Trail in Rixeyville. Registration is open. Verdun Adventure Bound (VAB) summer camp offers a variety of programs for rising 5th to 12th graders. For the younger campers, we offer the Young Explorers Camp for rising 3rd to 4th graders. Daily Camp hours are 8 to 4 p.m. There is an early drop-off between 7:45 and 8 a.m. for no additional fee. Any camper dropped off earlier than 7:45 a.m. will be charged. We do

offer an after camp care program for an additional fee. While on the VAB campus, each summer camp day includes two daily camp activities. As the camp morning begins and the camp afternoon comes to an end, all campers sit and learn from “Doc Talks” by Dr. David Snyder. Each day builds on the “ME to the WE to the ONE” concept. The campers also enjoy water activities in our pool and/or pond. VAB’s primary focal points of its programs include the exploration of self, group dynamics and community service. Our curriculum reflects a wide range of life skills and subjects designed to broaden the outlook and education of our youth and adults. At Verdun Adventure Bound, the outdoors is our classroom. All exercises emphasize safety first and contain educational components that help create a strong sense of environmental conservation and stewardship. Offering several camps, here are a few descriptions. Challenge Camp VAB’s Challenge Camp is an exciting way for campers to

experience the thrill of testing their own abilities while developing their team for the week. Campers play games and face the low and high rope elements, including one of the longest zip-lines in Virginia. Swimming in the pool or pond every day is a must for all on those hot summer days. Survival Camp Survivors will learn practical and useful skills, including basic fire starting, finding and storing

potable water, shelter building, orientating, hiking and basic first aid (no certification). Campers will spend the week learning and being mindful of the environmental friendly, “Leave No Trace” philosophy. This Camp includes a Thursday overnight campout on campus with a Staged Emergency Scenario. Aquatics will be included each day. Amy helps guests plan private parties, staffs Narmada's booth at numerous wine festivals, and represents the winery at local chambers of commerce and other civic organizations. She is also in charge of Narmada's wholesale program, selling the wines to restaurants, B&B's, and wine shops in VA-MD-DC area. Most recently she has introduced Narmada wines into Total Wine and Wegmans stores in Virginia. Color me a cheesemonger

Do you remember the first time that you opened a new box of 24 crayons as a kid? Does the thought of it now bring back some happy emotions? For me, opening a box of crayons still has that moment of amazement. I am suspecting that it’s the wonder of seeing a veritable field of plenty and possibility that captivates the imagination. To look at the box you could judge, as they say, “by the cover” and quickly pass the crayons by. Yes, the signature crayon cardboard box is a bright and contrasted colorful standout on a shelf, but ultimately uninteresting - about the equivalent interest of an empty shoebox. Then there’s the weight of the box. The weight of the box is a “tell” of sorts that (to me) creates mixed signals in your senses. Why is this box so heavy (dense) as compared to the lighter outside appearance? It’s not until you lift the lid that the magic begins and the weight of possibility starts to unfold. Where to begin? If the aroma of clean wax that’s been sealed up waiting for you does not touch your nostrils first, then it’s the burst of colors. More still are the visual draw of the perfect height alignment of crayons in staggered rows. Or the clean, die-cut scallop edge of cardboard that revealing the crayons matching paper wrappers and, on occasion, the names to go with them. To me, there’s a lot going on there. Honestly, receiving cheese is much the same. Each new cheese arrival has a sense of anticipation about it. How will this compare to the last one? Is this wheel more or less ripe? Oh – look at these cheese stickers, they are way cool! And the aromas -opening up boxes of cheese is among the best in the world. Then again, I have been called a “Cheese Liberal.” Checking in each cheese is a bevy of pleasurable sensations that never gets old. While these sensations don’t get old, you do (if you are a cheese liberal) want more. I have long listened (wistfully) to the challenges of large cheese shops that order cheeses by the

palette (50+ wheels) everyday. Now, I have been to cheese cellars and cheese caves, but not been on the receiving end of that much cheese at once. I am imagining the sensation of opening that much cheese being like, I don’t know, maybe a kid finding and opening a single box of 500 crayons at the same time. Along the same lines, I was recently asked to imagine what three tractor-trailers filled with 16,000+ pounds of cheese might be like. Um, yes – I’m in. To make it more interesting, distribute that volume out over 1,200 to 1,400 varieties of cheese. Can you imagine that? For some (perhaps crazy) reason I think that I can. In fact, exactly that much cheese at one place and time comes together for the American Cheese Society’s annual judging and conference. The coolest part of this year’s conference, in my mind anyway, is that I was asked to serve as Cheese Sale Lead. What’s that you ask? Like the kid getting a box of 500 crayons. I will be the lead Cheesemonger for the cheese sale and get to “play” with 10,000 pounds of cheese. I am getting giddy with excitement. Jeffery Mitchell is the owner of the Culpeper Cheese company. Coming into the Peppers kitchen two years ago, Tylar has added his own flair to the many dishes, soups and desserts offered. In addition to the main dining area, Peppers has room to host your conference or meeting group.
