Celebrating Local Success Stories Starting and running a local business isn’t easy. Thousands of would-be enentrepreneurs make the leap every year, but only a small percentage survive over the long term. We know that only too well. That’s because InsideNoVa is among the thouthousands of local businesses that operate right here in Prince William County. Our website, InsideNoVa.com, created by the company that published the former Potomac News and Manassas Journal Messenger daily newspapers, is now 21 years old. And this is the 12th year of publishing this weekly newspaper, which started in January 2013. We are now owned by Rappahannock Media LLC, a local company, and based in Woodbridge. We have about 25 employees, but some of our fellow local businesses are one-person operations working out of their home office, while others are large companies with hundreds of employees in a big facility.
So we’re delighted again this year to present our annual Business Anniversary section, recognizing some of the local businesses that not only have succeeded but have thrived – and that also make our community special. The businesses spotlighted in the pages that follow aren’t owned by big national chains. They are owned and operated by your neighbors, who have devoted countless hours of hard work to make them successful. We hope you are as inspired by their stories as we are, and, more importantimportantly, we encourage you to support not just the local businesses in this section, but all local businesses.
