Cardinal Donald Wuerl, the Roman Catholic archbishop of Washington, was the featured speaker at Marymount University’s recent undergraduate commencement exercises, held at DAR Constitution Hall. “Never give up the hope, never give up the vision, never give up the dream you can make this a better world,” Wuerl counseled the new crop of graduates. voter registration. Registration applications were running at a level typical for a presidential-election year, she said.
