Two incumbents and a Vienna Planning Commission member beat two other challengers May 3 to secure terms on the Vienna Town Council. Voters gave Council members Linda Colbert and Pasha Majdi new terms and selected Douglas Noble for the third available seat. Colbert received 1,096 votes, Majdi 1,007 and Noble 798. Also running in this year’s election were Roy Baldwin and C. Craig Burns, who received 671 and 382 votes, respectively. Both Majdi and Colbert first were elected to the Council in 2014. Colbert is a former James Madison High School math teacher who now runs a tutoring business. She previously served on the
