The Board of Supervisors on June 21 appointed three new EDA board members: James Quigley of Canvas in Reston, Roderick Mitchell of Pentagon Federal Credit Union and Christian Deschauer of Transurban. Two incumbent board members will continue their service. Secretary Ronald Johnson, whom county supervisors appointed to the EDA in November 2001, is chairman and CEO of Ronson Network Services Corp. Assistant secretary Catherine Lange, an EDA member since November 2009, is founder, president and CEO of BusinessWorks of America. Supervisors still must appoint two more board members to bring the sevenmember body up to its full complement. The board meets monthly at EDA headquarters in Tysons and next will convene July 19. Supervisors on July 26 are expected to appoint McLean resident Esther Lee, chief client officer at Edelman Berland, to the EDA board. Supervisors on June 21 lamented the loss of so many long-serving EDA board members. Davis had served with the organization for 15 years, Lewis for nearly 12, Lowham for six and one-half and Morrissette for six. “This is unfortunate that we’re losing
