ACCESS CONTROL Belvoir’s 24-hour gate to main post is Tulley Gate. The gate is at the intersection of U.S. Route 1 and Pohick Road. Commercial vehicles must enter post through Tulley Gate. Visitors without Department of Defense identification cards must also enter through Tulley Gate. The visitor center is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. All after hour visitors will be processed at Tulley Gate in the commercial/visitor lanes. Valid, U.S. government-issued ID card holders may enter through any gate. Gate hours are subject to change at any time. Hours may be changed for holidays, special events or other requirements. The gates are listed below. Limits vary in

other areas on post, but all are strictly enforced by the Fort Belvoir Police Department. Violators may be cited and could receive a U.S. Magistrate ticket. Additionally, Department of Defense policy prohibits using cell phones while driving, unless used with a hands-free device. Violators may receive a Department of Defense Form 1408, Armed Forces Traffic Ticket, which will be forwarded to your organization. ARRIVING AT FORT BELVOIR Uniformed military personnel reporting to Fort Belvoir on orders will sign in at their unit of assignment prior to inprocessing at the Welcome Center, located at Bldg. 1189, at 9625 Middleton Road. Soldiers must have a copy of DA Form 31 (Leave), assignment orders and/or amendments. Information pertaining to your Record of Emergency Data (DD Form 93) and Service member’s Group Life Insurance (SGLI) will be updated at this time. House hunters should report on the day permissive temporary duty begins. Service members must be in Duty Uniform. Those arriving at Dulles or Ronald Reagan Airport, it is your responsibility to coordinate and complete your travel to Fort Belvoir. Ensure that you save all your receipts so that you can make an appropriate travel claim when you in-process the installation. LODGING Belvoir’s lodging operations are managed by IHG Army Hotels, bringing branded hotels to U.S. Army installations. Along with comfortable rooms, IHG facilities offer high-speed internet access, a business center, on-site fitness facilities and guest self-serve laundry at its Knadle Hall location. The IHG’s Staybridge Suites is in Bldg. 1208, across from Belvoir Hospital, near the Fisher House and Community Center, 703-844-0303. FINANCE The primary route for submitting pay actions is through your unit PAC/S-1/HR POC; however, Army Military Pay Office (AMPO) – Fort Belvoir is available for finance services weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., except Wednesdays when the office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Learn more on the Fort Belvoir website at home.army.mil/belvoir, search “Army Military Pay Office (AMPO) - Fort Belvoir.” IDENTIFICATION CARDS The Directorate of Human Resources Military Personnel Division manages Fort Belvoir’s ID Card issuing facility. The office is at 9625 Middleton Rd., Bldg. 1189. ID cards are issued from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patrons must arrive by 3:45 p.m. to be served the same day. Appointments are recommended and can be made online at https://rapids-appointments.dmdc.osd.mil.

A signed Application for Uniformed Services Identification Care/DEERS Enrollment form (DD Form 1172-2) is required for issuing cards. Family members may get cards without the sponsor

if the form is signed by the sponsor in the presence of a verifying official, or if it is signed by the sponsor and notarized. To make any additions or changes in the Defense Enrollment and Eligibility Reporting System, original documents or certified true copies must be presented. Examples of documentation include marriage certificates, birth certificates and Social Security cards. Depending on the update requested, divorce, adoption and custody decrees may be required. For more information about ID cards, visit the office website at home.armymil/belvoir and search “DEERS/ID Cards.” MOTORCYCLE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS Fort Belvoir Regulation 190-5, Directorate of Emergency Services Uniform Traffic Regulation, requires military and civilian riders to wear proper eye protection, full-fingered gloves, long trousers and a long-sleeved shirt or jacket. Military riders must complete the Basic Rider’s Course before they are allowed to ride, whether on or off post. Within 12 months of completion of the basic course, military riders must also complete the Experienced Rider Course or the Sport Bike Riders Course. FIREARMS AND BICYCLE REGISTRATION The Staff Sergeant John D. Linde Visitors Processing Operation Center at Tulley Gate conducts firearm and bicycle registrations. The center operates from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. For additional information call 703-806-4891. Military members and their families who are assigned, attached or living at Fort Belvoir billeting or quarters must register all privately owned firearms within 72 hours of being brought on to the installation. Registration is not required for firearms that are

All homes offer electric washer/dryer connections, dishwashers, refrigerators and high-speed internet connection. HOUSING SERVICES OFFICE (OFF POST) The Housing Services Office is a branch of The Fort Belvoir Residential Communities Liaison Office. The office’s overall goal is to implement and maintain a high-quality, worldwide resource for relocation services that is innovative, comprehensive and the first choice of information and support when Soldiers and families relocate. These services include, but are not limited to, home-buying and -selling support; rental property listings; temporary housing listings; off-post, quality housing inspections; in and out-processing; permissive temporary duty (PTDY) stamp; lease review; landlord and tenant mediation; and advocacy. ARMY COMMUNITY SERVICE ARMY COMMUNITY SERVICE (ACS) is dedicated to improving the quality of life of military Families through education, information and support services. ACS offers many programs and services that are designed to equip Service members, Family Members, Retirees, and Department of Defense (DoD) Civilians, with the skills, knowledge and support they need to face the challenges of military life. EMPLOYMENT READINESS PROGRAM (ERP) assists Service members, Family Members, Retirees, and Department of Defense Civilians in acquiring skills, networks and resources that will allow them to join the work force and develop a career plan. Workshops are held regularly on such topics as local area job search, career development, federal employment application, resume preparation and a variety of other job-related subjects.

EXCEPTIONAL FAMILY MEMBER PROGRAM (EFMP) offers support, education, information, systems navigation, 12 referrals, and more to Active Duty Soldiers

with a special needs spouse or child. The EFMP Respite Care program provides temporary rest periods for Family members responsible for the regular care of persons with disabilities. FAMILY ADVOCACY PROGRAM (FAP) provides educational programs and support services aimed at strengthening Family relationships and alleviating the stress of everyday Family life. FINANCIAL READINESS PROGRAM (FRP) provides counseling, consumer education classes, debt liquidation, emergency food assistance, and more, to Service members, Family Members, Retirees, and Department of Defense Civilians.

NEW PARENT SUPPORT PROGRAM (NPSP) offers supportive and caring services to military Families with children form prenatal to three years of age. NPSP provides opportunities to learn to cope with stress, isolation, post-deployment, reunions and the everyday demands of parenthood. The NPSP professional social workers and nurses offer a variety of programs such as home visits, parenting classes, playgroup, infant massage, and stroller walking group.

ARMY EMERGENCY RELIEF (AER) is a private, non-profit organization established to assist Soldiers and Retirees in emergency financial situations due to no fault of their own. Financial assistance is given in the form of an interest-free loan, grant, or

The center offers an environment where Warriors and their Family members can gather to foster physical, spiritual and mental healing.

WOMEN, INFANTS & CHILDREN (WIC) is a special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants and children. WIC is a short-term intervention program designed to improve nutrition and health behaviors of those eligible for WIC. ARMY COMMUNITY SERVICE (ACS) is located at 5965 6th Street, Bldg. 1263. AQUATICS Through a variety of classes, programs and services, Fort Belvoir Aquatics focuses on water fitness, health and safety, and leisure. There are three pools available to Family and MWR patrons on Fort Belvoir, each at distinct operations and locations. Year round, the BENYAURD INDOOR POOL offers a six (6) lane, 25-yard lap pool along with water exercise equipment. They also offer water aerobics, scuba classes, swimming lessons and lifeguard training. THE CONNELLY POOL COMPLEX (adjacent to the Officers’ Club), is a seasonal pool open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Daily and seasonal Pool passes are available to purchase at the Officers’ Club Membership desk. THE NORTH POST OUTDOOR POOL is also a seasonal open Memorial Day to Labor Day, but passes for this facility can be purchased directly at the Pool entrance.

AUTO SKILLS CENTER Located along Gunston Road, the Automotive Skills Center is an economical way to take care of your car. The key to keeping your vehicle reliable is regular maintenance. The Automotive Skills Center makes it easy and affordable by providing nine (9) lift bays, three (3) flat bays, and one (1) motorcycle bay; many supplies and expert advice. Some maintenance services are available. Safety video viewing is required for first-time facility users. AUTO SKILLS CENTER is located at 9290 Gunston Road Bldg. 1462. Call 703-806-4088.

BOWLING CENTER When you are seeking fun things to do at Fort Belvoir, the Bowling Center has everyone covered. Enjoy an expansive selection of food and beverages, while bowling, playing video games, or watching sports on a giant screen. There is also a dedicated meeting room space perfect for team building, miniretreats, and planning sessions. Nobody does birthday parties, group events, or office parties like Fort Belvoir Bowling. THE VORTEX GRILL, housed inside the Bowling Center, offers top-tier food in a quick-service environment. They have a very extensive menu that offers something for everyone. BETTER OPPORTUNITIES FOR SINGLE SOLDIERS (BOSS) is a program that supports the overall quality of single Soldiers’ lives. BOSS identifies well-being issues and concerns by recommending improvements through the chain of command. BOSS encourages and assists single Soldiers in identifying and planning for recreational, leisure activities and life skills. Additionally, it gives single Soldiers the opportunity to participate in and contribute to their respective communities. The BOSS Center is also a great place to socialize and reconnect with fellow single service members and relax in a comfortable environment with multiple TV screens, game consoles, free Wi-Fi, computers and billiards. LEISURE TRAVEL SERVICES (LTS) is a one-stop shop your vacation and entertainment planning needs. The Community Center is a 24,000-squarefoot, multi-purpose facility located near Pence Gate. The Center is host to various events, wine tasting trips, and recreational classes with qualified instructors. It is also equipped with three (3) music studios. Child and Youth Services (CYS) offers a variety of Family support programs, including child care, recreation, socialization, and development for children of all ages. CYS provides a safe, healthy environment, enriching activities, and warm, loving care for every child. ALL CYS programs require advanced registration

and enrollment with Parent Central Services prior to the first use. THE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS (CDC) provide full-day and hourly care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. THE MARKHAM SCHOOL AGE CENTER (SAC) offers full-day, hourly and before/ after school care for children from K - 5th grade. During the school year, they have a part-day pre-school program for children 3-5 years. THE FAMILY CHILD CARE (FCC) PROGRAM is geared toward children 6 weeks to 12 years old. MARINA AND RV STORAGE LOT Located near Walker Gate at Dogue Creek with the beautiful Potomac River in the background, Fort Belvoir’s Marina offers a unique boating experience for boat owners. The Marina offers space for storing and launching privately owned boats. Wet slips with water and electric are available along with standard dry trailered storage. For a small fee, there is a boat lift and launch ramp available (launch fee included with monthly storage). This office also manages the RV Storage Lot. RV storage is gated with 24/7 gate key access.

OFFICERS’ CLUB The Fort Belvoir Officers’ Club represents a proud military heritage at Fort Belvoir. Join the ranks of this historic tradition as a member. Membership is open to all Fort Belvoir and affiliated officers and DoD civilians equivalent to GS-7 and NF-3 and above. Enlisted personnel rank E7 and above are also welcome to join. Being physically fit is an essential aspect of all military missions. The Fort Belvoir Family and MWR Sports and Fitness team offers a wide variety of sports programs, fitness classes, exercise equipment, facilities, sports teams and fitness events. The fitness centers offer a pleasant atmosphere to help you stay on track with your personal gym workouts. MWR maintains tennis courts, softball fields and running tracks. Sports and Fitness also runs the INTRAMURAL SPORTS PROGRAM, in which Fort Belvoir units and agencies compete in a variety of sports to earn Commander’s Cup points.

Fort Belvoir’s Exchange opened in June 2013 with 270,262 square feet of space to meet your shopping needs. The complex incorporates a main store, food court, home and garden, military clothing sales store along with concessions and a satellite pharmacy operated by Fort Belvoir Community hospital.

The HUMAN PERFORMANCE CENTER, a complete strength and conditioning training center, will move to Specker Field House in 2021 to take advantage of this newly renovated and expanded (24,000 sq. ft) facility to support high intensity, functional training for Units and civilian patrons. The main store is divided into three shopping zones; home, life and style. The goal of defining the Exchange brand is to create a tangible, timeless and emotional connection to Soldiers and their families. The Exchange has 22 mall stores, 12 more than the old store. Restaurants at the food court include Starbucks, Subway, Pizza Hut, Popeye’s Chicken, Charley’s Grilled Subs, Burger King, Boston Market and Qdoba. The Exchange operates an Express station on North and South Post, each offering fuel, convenience and Class Six items. The North Post store houses an Arby’s, a Snack Avenue and a tremendous amount of beer, wine and spirits. The South Post store boasts a Burger King with dine-in and drive through service.

ADF-E is a multi-mission ground station responsible for supporting worldwide defense operations and multi-agency collection, analysis, reporting, and dissemination of intelligence information. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has a responsibility to provide the products and services that decision makers, warfighters and first responders need, when they need it most. As a member of the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense, NGA supports a unique mission set. We are committed to acquiring, developing and maintaining the proper technology, people and processes that enables overall mission success. Geospatial intelligence, or GEOINT is the exploitation and analysis of imagery and geospatial information to describe, assess and visually depict physical features and geographically referenced activities on the Earth. GEOINT consists of imagery, imagery intelligence and geospatial information. DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

DLA provides effective and efficient global solutions to Warfighters and our other valued customers. Our vision is clear: Deliver the right solution on time, every time. As America’s 2

combat logistics support agency, DLA provides the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, other federal agencies and partnernation armed forces with a full spectrum of logistics, acquisition and technical services. DLA sources and provides nearly all of the consumable items America’s military forces need to operate – from food, fuel and energy to uniforms, medical supplies and construction material. DLA generated more than $38 billion in sales and revenue last year. The agency employs nearly 25,000 civilians and military, in 48 states and 28 countries. DLA operates 24 distribution depots supporting more than 2,430 weapons systems; and manages nine supply chains with nearly 5.3 million line items. In 2014, DLA received nearly $40 billion in excess and surplus property that was reutilized, transferred, disposed of or donated. Additionally, DLA administers the storage and disposal of strategic and critical materials to support national defense. Headquartered at Fort Belvoir, DLA is a global enterprise – wherever the United States has a significant military presence, DLA is there to support.

DTRA’s programs include basic science research and development, operational support to U.S. warfighters on the frontline, and an in-house WMD think tank that aims to anticipate and mitigate future threats long before they have a chance to harm the United States and our allies. SCC-WMD, the U.S. Strategic Command Center for Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction,

synchronizes Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction efforts across our military’s geographic commands and leverages the people, programs and interagency relationships of DTRA at a strategic level. The Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army has a primary 4

Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center/ Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate’s mission is to conduct research and development in order to provide U.S. warfighters with advanced sensor technology to dominate the 21st Century digital battlefield. CERDEC NVESD exploits sensor and sensor suite technologies (unmanned aerial/ ground vehicles, rotorcraft, fixed wing aircraft, individual Soldier systems) for reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition (day and night) under adverse battlefield environments; denies the enemy the same capabilities through electro-optic means and/or camouflage, concealment,
