You don’t have to be a racer to enjoy Lee Valley VeloPark’s one mile (1.6km) floodlit road circuit.
Lee Valley VeloPark is the ultimate hub for everything cycling. We have an onsite workshop which offers everything from bike fitting, to repairs and servicing. Plus we have a café bar, the perfect place to make a pit stop after your ride. Here you can relax, meet your mates and soak up the action track side.
The Olympic BMX track was a showcase of massively exciting adrenalin fuelled sport during the Games. Since then it has been remodelled and improved to make it ready for thousands of BMXers of all abilities.
The smooth, grippy asphalt surface is six metres wide and has safety zones on both sides – making it the perfect place for children to learn the essential skills to cycle safely on the road. For competitive riders, why not join one of the clubs that regularly ride here and participate in league meetings that take place on this fantastic circuit. If you feel like exploring the circuit on your own then our pay and ride sessions are available from £2* on a Wednesday and £6 at other times. Alternatively, if it’s been a while since you got on a bike then ease yourself in with one of our taster sessions priced at £15.
Velodrome Its unique design and shape has led to the award winning velodrome becoming one of the most iconic reminders of the London 2012 Games. Now you can create your own magical moments as you take on the 250m Siberian Pine indoor track which saw riders like Sir Chris Hoy, Dame Sarah Storey, Victoria Pendleton, Jason Kenny, Ed Clancy, Dani King, Jody Cundy, Mark Colbourne, Laura Trott and Joanna Roswell ride themselves into the history books. A taster session will cost you £30.

During the Games every one of its big bumps and jumps had to be ‘cleared’ in order to reach the next one but now the 390m floodlit course is entirely ‘rollable’. This means that newcomers to BMX can ride the course safely without having to leave the ground and then progress to jumping as skills and confidence improve.

Mountain bike trails Off-road cycling is outstanding at Lee Valley VeloPark with five miles (8km) of brand new trails ready to be explored and conquered in the heart of east London. Designed by one of Britain’s top trail builders, these trails will test the best of riders. They’re graded like ski runs into blue (gentle), red (medium) and black (difficult) and feature bumps, hills and sharp turns that will make you fall in love with this fast and furious sport. Entrance to our trails available from £2* on a Wednesday and £6 at other times whilst our taster sessions, which provide beginners with basic skills, are charged at £15.
