CICLOVIA
A PACKED EVENTS SCHEDULE FOR ALL AGES AND ALL BACKGROUNDS, YOU JUST HAVE TO BE WILLING TO GIVE IT A GO.
As a famous rockstar once said,
“the only person you should be better than is the person you were yesterday.” That strikes us as a challenge we can all strive to meet.
Get ready as CIclovia returns to Belfast!
“FORTHEALLGROUNDWORK HAPPINESS IS GOOD HEALTH LEIGH HUNT
“
According to the World Health Organisation a healthy district is not one that has achieved a particular health status. Rather it is a district that is conscious of health and striving to improve it. We hope our programme of activities inspires both member organisations and individuals to enhance their focus on health & well-being and take steps to improve. Not a giant leap. Lots of little steps.
Sunday 29 March 0930 – 1200
Ciclovia is a family-friendly fun event which opens a traffic free safe cycling zone, for cyclists to ride through the City. Ciclovia 2020 aims to create a mini festival environment so come into the City centre on your bike, and enjoy the freedom and community of the City. On the day there will be a traffic free route in place between Botanic Gardens and Belfast City Hall, running along Botanic Avenue, Dublin Road and Bedford Street. Participants can start the route wherever they wish and cycle up and down, in whichever direction, throughout the event. Ciclovia Belfast welcomes all non-motorised transport. If you don’t have a bike, you can walk, run, scoot or trike the route. Ciclovia is sponsored by the Linen Quarter
Christopher McCracken, MD, LQ BID.
