If you have been furloughed or made redundant as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may understandably be feeling uncertain about your future. Using this time to acquire in-demand skills could be the ace up your sleeve when you do return to the workforce. Queen’s University Belfast is offering a suite of free Postgraduate Certificates, funded by the Department for the Economy to upskill individuals in a range of subjects including: • Advanced Chemical Analysis • Applied Cyber Security • Audio-visual Post Production • Biostatistics and Bioinformatics • Data Analytics

THE COURSE These flexible, 3 month online courses starting in January 2021 provide an opportunity for you to upskill in key areas, enabling you to advance your career across multiple industries. Whether you want to stay ahead of the talent curve in your current role or you’re looking for a career changing stepping stone into one of our part-time Master’s courses, these courses are designed to help you stay professionally relevant. CLOSING DATE Applications will close on Sunday 29 November 2020 at 6pm and the courses will start in January 2021. The courses are open to applicants resident in Northern Ireland whose job has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
