forest of stelae museum The site is located in an old city quarter of Beilin district where dwelling is characteristized by low rise and high density. As a respond to scanty plaza spaces and virescence, the design is combining architecture with landscape. Promenade experience leads residents following the sequence of visiting and rooftop gives a overview of the neiborhood. Some tradional elements are abstraced and interpreted in the desgin.

The design tries to activate former film studio area and makes it a dynamic citizen hub in the district. The formal language of the design is supposed to stimulate informal interaction between citizens and movie industry. And the design process is exploring the superposition of different layers instead of function division. Also constructing process could be treated as an experiment on transiting from old to new and old in the procedure of urban renewal.
