Reno County Historical Society
The Reno County Historical Society (RCHS) is the parent organization that owns two museums, the Reno County Museum and Strataca-Kansas Underground Salt Museum, both in Hutchinson, Kansas. While the Reno County Museum focuses on history specific to the county, the Salt Museum focuses on the Carey Salt Mine and salt mining, with local relevance. The Legacy's first journal was published on paper in a magazine format in 1989 and continued quarterly until the summer of 2011. At that time, RCHS entered the digital age and joined issuu.com.
