“THE BRAND WITHIN – FULL DAY SEMINAR” AN EXCLUSIVE WORKSHOP EMPOWERING AUDIENCES TO MAXIMIZE THEIR POTENTIAL AND RESOURCES BY DISCOVERING THEIR GREATNESS WITHIN!

Who: Legacy Thinking Labs (LTL) is a premier company for motivating youth to achieve their full potential and to maximize their prospective in life. Kevin Y. Brown, motivational speaker and author of 10 Ways Anyone Can Graduate From College DEBT-FREE!, has inspired countless youth and trained professionals across the United States. What: The Brand Within is a full day seminar that is in high demand across the United States. This journey motivates students to achieve their full potential and educational excellence. The Brand Within is presented by Legacy Thinking Labs (LTL) and hosted by its President, Kevin Y. Brown. Kevin is a motivational speaker, workshop facilitator and author of 10 Ways Anyone Can Graduate From College DEBT-FREE! Kevin is perfect to lead this workshop, not only because of his seventeen years in the California foster care system, but also by him overcoming the obstacles of emancipating and creating a life as a college graduate and world traveling business owner. “The Brand Within” is structured to help the youth define their personal brand by teaching them leadership, personal responsibility, the understanding of delayed gratification and so much more. This is the ULTIMATE SELF EMPOWERMENT CAMP FOR FOSTER CARE YOUTH. When: TBD Where: TBD Why: As various outside factors affect today’s youth and how they view themselves, The Brand Within tour is a necessity. From social media, to television, even the everyday negative label society places on our children, these outside influences causes our youth to have self-doubt, low self-esteem, and/or very low motivation. It is Legacy Thinking Labs’s goal to help re-structure students impaired self-image and increase their confidence as well as motivate them about what the future can become if they are willing to put in the work.


THE BRAND WITHIN (Full day seminar hourly breakdown). 50 Students 9-10 am - Orientation + Brand within Presentation • House Rules • Staff Introduction • Ice Breaker Exercises • The Brand Within Keynote Presentation 10-10:15 am - Break 10:15 -11 am - The Brand Within Workshop + Worksheet • Building on the empowerment keynote presentation they just heard and participated in. Participant’s now have the opportunity to explore their “Brands Within” by thinking and writing down their personal labels, material and brands. Once each section of the worksheet is completed participants have the opportunity to actively post information from their individual worksheets to the bigger poster boards across the walls of the room and volunteers will get up and read from each section of the Posters. 11-12 pm - The Brand Within worksheet presentations • Here students get to present their personal “Brand Within” worksheets solidifying their future plans and speaking them into existence in front of peers who will hold them accountable to their dreams. 12-12:30 pm - Lunch 12:30-1pm – Team Building Exercises • Here students have the opportunity to build trust amongst each other and also learn and explore why the Brand experience they offer to others is so important. They do so through an obstacle course and other activities that include a trust walk, child hood games and color recognition. 1-2:30pm – Construct Your Dreams • Here participants turn their personal brands into a visual reality by creating a vision board that reflects their brands (what they want to be known for and what they want to accomplish in life.) 2:30-3pm Why sacrifice worksheet and exercises • Here students take their “Brands” (what they plan to achieve in life and want to be known for) and map out a scope of the sacrifices that they expect to encounter on their journey to their dreams. 3-4:30 pm – Vision Board and Why Sacrifice worksheet presentations • Here students are individually given the floor to share their vision boards: how and why they put their individual items on them and what they anticipate their sacrifices will be to make it to their goals.


4:30- 6pm – Re-Cap – sharing of the Brand Within Experience + Question and Answer period + Handing out of awards certificates • Here participants have the opportunity to write on the poster boards on the wall anonymously at least one thing that they learned about their personal brands within. Volunteers will read from the different poster boards. •

Here participants have the opportunity to ask each other questions, ask staff members questions and also go through the Brand Within graduation and certificate ceremony. They will also have the opportunity to participate in closing activities for door prizes and giveaways.

Apply strategies to help create an evaluation system for achieving goals and ultimately achieving "success" Learn the 3 steps to rise above stereotypes placed upon them Gain an understanding of how being resourceful can enhance the opportunity they encounter in life. Learn and use Proper public speaking/presentation etiquette Establish a definition for success that is personalized and applicable to their goals and interests Establish a plan of action for achieving their dreams Create a graph of how they see themselves and what they want to do with their lives Construct a visual representation of what they want to be known for and accomplish in life Outline the sacrifice that they expect on their journey to what they call success Outline a realistic time frame for achieving their goals Build on trust
