The LS 17R500N handled the sandier soils that I have very well. Years past I would struggle with this field but this year I had my best yield. Never dropped off in the poor parts of the field.

You could tell in the combine when we got to the LR 9495. It was good on both the heavy and light portions of the field. It was easy to harvest as well.

MINNESOTA CORN HIGHLIGHTS Unbelievable silage corn! It’s great to be able to walk into a field and have 15-16 foot tall corn and have at least two big cobs hanging off each stalk 6 foot off the ground and knowing you’re gonna have enough feed for your cows! I really like the long harvest window for this variety, especially if you have a break down and will still have time to get up quality feed in a reasonable time! ZEB JOHNSON - BROOK PARK, MN LNG 9595 RR - 29 tons/acre

“We compared our yields from last year to this year. To date, we feel that we are 21 bushels ahead of last year and we increased our Legend hybrids to 90% of our farm. Next year we will be all Legend.” ALLAN WOLLAK - RICE, MN

“I planted less corn acres than last year, but still needed more bin space!” JUSTIN WINCH - WINNEBAGO, MN LR 9600 VT2PRIB - 250 bpa

Zeb Johnson - Brook Park, MN

“We started using LNG hybrids three years ago. By doing this we chop 25% less acres to fill the silo. We are feeding the same amount of cattle, leaving more acres for grain.”

“The Legend lineup has lots of great variety. I am impressed with the LNG 95 Day silage corn. It has wide leaves with lots of tonnage. Another great thing to try is the Roundup Ready Alfalfa - great protein, lots of hay, super feed values.“

DONALD HANSEN - VINING, MN LNG 5595 Conv. - 21 tons/acre

JOE BUHL - BROWERVILLE, MN LNG 5595 Conv. - 24 tons/acre

I’ve planted Legend Seeds LNG 9505 RR for three years. Every year when I switch from my dual-purpose corn silage to my LNG corn silage pile, I get a 2-3 pound per day increase in milk production and an increase in protein to fat components. I love the wide harvest window. The custom cutter came 10 days later than we wanted and the silage test still came back at 65% moisture. ROGER SPRAKEL - CROFTON, NE LNG 9505 RR

Much better standability than the competitor. I was seeing spots where the Legend ran away from the competitor at times reaching 400.4 bpa!

Will definitely be planting all Legend Seeds from now on. Very impressed with pollination, the FULL ears, and standability.

NORTH DAKOTA CORN HIGHLIGHTS “I grow Non-GMO corn. Kudos to Legend for maintaining, growing, and offering high yielding, good standing and adaptable hybrids for North Dakota. We look forward to planting the new hybrids this coming year.”

“I started using Legend LNG corn for silage a couple years ago, and I’ve been very pleased with it. It tonned out extremely well last year (2016) and still performed well this year. My custom chopper truck driver actually stopped me in the yard and asked me what kind of corn it was because it was the best they had chopped this year! My nutritionist also asked because the feed values were really good. Between tonnage and feed value, it’s worth taking a look at.”

PAUL ANDERSON - HARVEY, ND

“I’ve been planting the LNG silage corn for two years now. I was really impressed with how it bounced back with rain during the drought. It was waist high on August 3rd and 6 foot tall by the end of September! Despite the drought, the feed value remained good. Overall, the feed value has been above and beyond others and the tonnage is there, too. The feed is more efficient - the cows leave the bunker empty. I definitely recommend folks try it. I did and replaced my other silage brand completely.”

KELLY BURGHART - MANDAN, ND LNG 9595 RR

“In two years with Legend corn seed, I have seen 200 bushels in back-to-back years. I don’t think it’s coincidence!”

MAXIMIZE YIELD POTENTIAL OF HIGH-VALUE SEEDS: Yield Protector Pro: Soybean Treatment provides the protection you need, guarding against all major seed and early season soil-borne diseases. You can expect greater root mass, healthier roots, and more plants per acre – which all adds up to more yield. See what these growers had to say: “I was really happy with the new Legend Seeds YP Pro soybean seed treatment. With the poly coating on the beans, they really flowed nicely through the planter.” - Jake Jordahl, LaMoure, ND

“ I treated the LS 1230 LLN soybeans with YP Pro™ Soybean Treatment and QuickRoots® so they came up healthy from the start. Great genetics carried them through a tough year and my yield of 59 bu/ ac was better than I expected. I’m more than happy with my Legend program again this year.” -Mark Keller, Tintah, MN

“Compared to products I've planted in the past, this Legend LR 9405 was every bit as good and probably better than any of the competitors I've planted in the past. This being the first time I have ever plated Legend products, I am very happy. Some of the corn was picked as ear corn and some was combined, but I didn't see ears dropped anywhere as I harvested. My local rep, Matthew Petersen, guided me through hybrid selection and walked fields with me during the growing season, something none of the other companies ever did.” A &G FARMS - VIBORG, SD LR 9405 GENSSRIB - 170 bpa

“I have always been able to count on LR 9397, it is always a good yielder and it stands well in addition to handling the drought stress.”
