The slopes of the roof prevents the leaks of the roof and allow a rapid evacuation of waters from tropical storms
the easy access to the raw material, found in the forests, allow the making of baskets and containers, that are used to store food.

The houses are connected with each other by footbridge and walkways. each one has its independent access to the river through a pier made of beams/logs The few or lack of walls allow air ciruclation and counteract the humidity of the environment.
