Observing Maputo, it is impossible to see the images of territories without, rivers that broke banks causing floods and marches of regions that are hit of alluvions and storm. The initiatives of run for cover and predisposed system with flexibility and sufficiency of defending the ecosystem and assist of rebirth of the settlements are pointed with the idea of preserving the interactive march of a littoral. Eventually the process is developing with a project of landscape or with a strategy in according to the mediation of the forces of the earth and the ocean Certainly, this is a correlation with the practice note of edification and defence barrier acting to stabilize a limit, a separation between two elements, usually amid land and water like long-sea. Rethink the City
Cities have memories that get maintained which give shape to the residents life and also unwilled memories that are ignored by people and get negleted through time.The project tries to put the memories of a city, such as functions of the everyday life on different topographic levels according to the importance holded for the city itself that on the same time it changes by a dynamic flow during certain time. Herby, we end up with dynamic sections changing as the importance of a certain functions it differs with time. The decision of the level of importance it is done by analysis that is present in the histroy of Antalya and its development , therefore this importance given to the development during time it is put on sections that are presented in the project.
Reconstruction Common GroundCastelsantangelo sul Nera On August 2016 an earthquake hit the region of Macherata taking several lives and also leaving several habitants without shelter. The region experienced the highest loss of population mainly from the rural areas migrating to the bigger cities such as Ancona and others. However, the earthquake just brought up to the picture what the situation realty was in the region, migration and shrinkage was a phenomena starting way from the 90s. On the other hand, the area is characterized by the system of national park of Monte Sibilini what is one of the main attractions of the area contributing to the slow tourism that is a forgotten part of the mid-Italy regions mainly left aside on the big picture of the country.The approach on the project aims to revitilise the economy of the slow tourism by means of the reconstruction as a common ground. Even though in the hart of Monte Sibilini, Castelsanangelo sul Nera is mainly affected by the neglect of tourism happening in the different altitudes of the landscape of the region.With hiking roads and refugios on the higer altitudes and fishing comming from the river Nera Castelsantangelo sul Nera stands as a bridge connectin the two. The projects starts by rediscovering a hiking path that over years has been neglected, and therefore adjusting several functions that give services through it. It starts with the city itself and its fisrt phase of reconstruction and continues to the several experiences such as reforestration lost though the years and a rifugio on the connection between the system of hiking on the higher altitudes. The reconstruction strategy is divided in three phases comming from the actual cituation of the city nowdays and the clearance of the rubber. On the first phase the main aim is to bring back the community life and with it the public services, therefore on the tracks of the buildings that do not give any chance for reconstruction it is decided to introduce new functions that feed the previouse activities and also bring life back .Therefore, structures called HUBS are introduced in the main squares, such as Musseum Hub, Production Hub and also Commercial Hub.
Research Center in Zhangzhou-China The region of Zhangzhou in China it is on of the region that has been experiencing a very rapid and intensive development on the last 15 years. Most of the rural life in the area has been experiencing rapid shift comming from the rapid urbanisation, the new scale introduced by the heavy manifacturing it has been creating gaps between what is urbanised and the new cities called factory cities that in some cases grasp the agriculture land and turn it large plants of factories sometimes reaching the length of 1km per one single structure. The project aim is to connect this new cities of manifacture with everyday life by proposing the new center of research and culture in the areas now left over in the hart of this manifacure plants, in order to bring together research and manifacure and also culture in the same place. The main aims of the project is to maintain the scale already existing into the city to serve as a passage from the rural to manifactural urbanisation
The Hub
Bolognina is a district in the city of Bologna that has a very significant place on shaping of the city pattern. Here stands one of the biggest train hubs of the city and also Italy. The train station divides the dictrict from the rest of the city creating a community self standing within the Bolognina. The dividing lines of the rails bring the new scale in the city not existant which gives the characer of a linear building with the functions seperated and together in the same time.The project connects Bolognina with the opening of the square hosting different functions in different levels of the square itself, whereas the other functions gain the privacy as the building extends on.
Generative City Analysis
CITY AS NEVORUSE SYSTEM - Cities are complex systems that are composed of numerous relations in different contidions and time It has to be connected an in harmony to work in a regulated way. Just as the nevoruse system cities have certain nodes and infinite connectons. Integration and seperation process creates the continuity of the city. Infrastructure enables us to understand how these relations are defined and what happens when an unexpected event occurs.In this cases the phenomena of the Shock effect appears just as when a person experiences something new or unexpected.When thinking of the human body these shocks depend on their power that can result in loss of memory paralysis trauma.But what happens when a city shock occures?
THE CASE OF ISTANBUL-Istanbul is a metropol with its own complexity and importance of cultural social and politic agenda. While analysing the city existing conditions are visible to observe and make and inference.Bosporus,The Golden Horn and the two continets give information about the complexity of the relations.Istanbul does not have a strong grid system because of its historical context.The layot of the city is very organic and it is seen in the first sight. This organic organization also creates a complexity without any parameter.After the morphological analysis as the next dimension human experiences of the city shape the pattern of the city.While some nodes gain importance other nodes stay two dimensional and do not affect the city.But there are cases when these two dimensional spaces gain importance and become the main gathering space of the people In these cases the city experiences the so called CITY SHOCK
