Finnish family business Weiste is celebrating Christmas in 2022 with new styles and a range of beautiful festive collections

Family Christmas

From its fairy-tale beginnings, Weiste has been a market leader in the design and manufacture of Christmas decorations.

Founded by industrious Kalle Weiste - who ran a paper shop in Helsinki in the 1920s and saw a gap in the market for manufacturing decorations, today Weiste maintains its tradition as a family business, alongside its reputation for excellent customer service and reliability.

Weiste has been trading in the UK for more than 40 years, and for 2022 the brand builds on its strong themes of Family Christmas, Nordic Winter, Baby’s First Christmas, and its ground breaking Eco brand, as well as introducing new styles with antique accents and natural earth tones, and adding new leaf patterns to its legendary, bestselling tinsel range.

Family Christmas

This year, perhaps more than ever, our sense of family and being together means so much. These traditional red and green designs are enduring favourites and capture the spirit of family fun with a warm and cosy feel. Make Christmas a truly homely affair, with natural winter comfort from the homeland of Father Christmas.

Nordic Winter

This core range for Weiste, takes you on a journey into the wild depths of Lapland. Travel through the winter wonderland of forested Finnish landscapes, frozen lakes twinkling in the snow and herds of reindeer walking gently across open plains. These designs encapsulate the dream of a White Christmas.

Baby’s First Christmas

Weiste’s legendary Baby’s First Christmas bauble is the perfect gift for a new baby! Year after year, the baby’s very own bauble is draped on the Christmas tree, delighting the whole family. You might prefer the simple white bauble with a twist of silver, or perhaps the more traditional type, opting for pink or blue. This year the range includes new products and more neutral tones.

Eco Christmas

A revolution in the Christmas decorations industry, Weiste’s famous eco-friendly product line is made from biodegradable wooden fibre. The collection features the coveted eco-friendly Christmas bauble, the result of expert design and engineering at Weise’s factory in Finland. The range includes twigged garlands, tinsels, mini Christmas trees, filigrees and tree top stars, made either of paper or biocomposite. Additions for 2022 include golden and red glittered Christmas baubles and filigrees together with Eco Baby’s First Christmas baubles.

New for 2022

This year Weiste adds new styles to its range with antique accents and natural earth tones, enhancing the traditional feel of Christmas and honouring the Scandinavian’s deep love of nature. Not only that, Weiste’s classic and extensive range of tinsels includes beautiful new leaf patterns this year. Also don’t forget Weiste’s irresistible range of bestselling mice!

Although not exhibiting at Harrogate this year, Weiste will have its usual stand at Christmasworld in Frankfurt (9.0 B60), running from 28 January to 1 February.
