If you’re looking for that extra special Christmas card then look at Stormy Knight’s Bloom seedstick collection (winners of the Best Christmas Card Range at last year’s Henries).

Each beautifully designed card contains five biodegradable seedsticks which, when planted, will grow into your very own Norwegian spruce Christmas tree! There are eight cards in the collection, illustrated by Clare Owen, whose Scandinavian-inspired illustrations bring a contemporary look to the range.

The cards have been cleverly engineered to house the seedsticks and growing instructions inside, while maintaining the traditional greeting card format. Each design is finished with smooth rounded corners and satin gold foil, making them a truly special send.

“We worked closely with our printer’s paper engineering team on this collection to make sure that the design of the card kept the seeds nice and secure but also allowed the sender plenty of room to write their message and the recipient to proudly display it on their mantlepiece,’’ says director Sarah Jackson.

“Being able to plant your own Christmas trees is such a lovely way to feel festive and to connect with the traditions that we are so familiar with now. To be able to give that gift inside a card brings a smile to many faces – whether they are gardening novices or green-fingered enthusiasts – and they are so easy to grow… just pop the seedsticks into soil, water regularly and watch them bloom!”

The whole Bloom collection comprises 42 designs, spanning Christmas, occasions and birthdays. They are all designed and produced in the UK with environmentally sustainable material.
