It seems to make good sense to translate a strong selling card into a gift wrap. And for M&G, which works a great deal with repeat pattern from both contemporary and heritage sources, this is largely a natural progression, as demonstrated by Arts & Crafts designer Walter Crane’s Fig and Peacock from the V&A archives and Sarah Campbell’s strikingly bold Coffee Break - a modern classic. This season M&G has released star artist’s Josephine Simon’s Wild Garden as a gift wrap along with Hokusai’s iconic Great Wave print.

The Art File
The Art File supplies matching gift wrap and bags for several of its most popular card ranges including Soleil, Maestro and Sakura Heights.
