MUST VISIT… Edge Sculpture Edge Sculpture are not just home to contemporary statement stone sculptures — don’t miss their new and striking star-gazing hare and TRex bust — they also deliver a successful venture with Robert Harrop Designs, tapping into their huge back catalogue of original work. Some of the many characters they created for their Doggie People collection have now been brilliantly transformed from figurine sculpts to fabulously fun woven tapestry cushions in a new range, Harrop Home. Pictured here is their Bulldog John Bull and he’ll be joined at the show by other whimsical characters, including a Bull Terrier Queen Elizabeth I and Bulldog Policeman. The Daily News is brought to you by Gifts Today and Greetings Today magazines

TV chef Tom Kerridge, who owns two-Michelin-starred pub The Hand and Flowers in Marlow, is making his Harrogate debut today. The inspirational chef, who most recently hosted BBC’s Bake Off Crème de la Crème, is launching his new range of British-made premium cook and homeware in collaboration with The Great British Exchange. Known for his championing of all things British, Tom will be talking about the inspiration behind the new range, as well as telling the story of its British provenance, at a seminar this afternoon (Monday, 1.30pm) as part of The Great Northern Retail Forum. Tom will be joined by Matt Hopkins, MD of The Great British Exchange. Tom will then head to The Great British Exchange stand (DP2-35) to show visitors the complete range, from knives and textiles to enamelware and pans, and will also be signing copies of his book Tom’s Table.
