The NEW BABY-SAFE 5Z by Britax Römer is their lightest and most innovative infant carrier yet, at only 3.9 kg, the BABY-SAFE 5Z is extremely light and comfortable to carry.

Featuring optimal comfort for your baby with ergo recline which introduces a new level of safety, comfort, and ergonomics. When reclined, the babies’ position becomes flatter and more ergonomic, supporting and promoting the healthy development of the spine and keeping the airways open.

Especially designed to give extra support to small babies the included newborn insert with energyabsorbing foam pads reduces the space and offers additional comfort.

The 3-point harness makes the buckling and unbuckling process more convenient for parents and less disturbing for the baby, without compromising on safety thanks to the optimized side support.

The padded headrest and harness can be adjusted with just one hand to grow with your baby. Simply set the harness adjuster at the back of the seat in the correct position for your babies’ size to make sure the headrest and harness are in the correct position.

The specially designed side wings absorb a large percentage of forces in the event of an accident, keeping your baby safe and secure even in critical situations.

The extra-large sun canopy can be easily adjusted to provide an optimal cover and protection for your baby.

When the BABY-SAFE 5Z is installed on the FLEX BASE 5Z, simply turn it towards the open car door for easy access. Since the release button rotates with the BABY-SAFE 5Z, you can easily reach it at any time – making it even more convenient to remove the infant carrier. Not only the release from the base is very easy, but also the switch in and out of the Ergo Recline can be done with just one hand, no matter where you are. It can be used both inside and outside of the car, so your baby can sleep.

Protecting their future

Just like they care for children and their safety around the globe, Britax Römer very much care for the world they grow up in to protect their future.

In 2021 the KIDFIX i-SIZE was the lead product family to kick off product-led sustainability for Britax Römer. They ensured all packaging was replaced with sustainable alternatives, each KIDFIX i-SIZE was packed in a plant-based bag and recycled carton made from responsible sources. Even the tags they used for product information are biodegradable on soil, resulting in no microplastics entering the ecosystem

Their GREEN SENSE collection launched later in 2021, with a fabric made of 100% recycled polyester, made with up to 138 plastic PET bottles per product, that have been turned into soft yarn which are then spun to create premium fabric covers.

The diamond-patterned mesh fabric on each GREEN SENSE seat is also 100% recycled and intricately bordered with straight pattern stitches, has been purposefully integrated into the design of the covers to aid air circulation for keeping your little ones extra comfortable during their travels. The GREEN SENSE collection by Britax Römer comes in three colours:

Atlantic Green – a deep, sophisticated teal green Fossil Grey – an elegant dark charcoal tone. NEW for 2022 is Galaxy Black – a chic and stylish black This is only the beginning for Britax Römer, they are continuously working on further projects.
