Did you know…? One of the Spotted Award Runners Up at the recently-held Top Drawer tradeshow in London was Finfo Design, a brand that produces illustrated tableware featuring people from all corners of the world with the aim of promoting friendship and conversation. The designs are created with ink finger prints and brushstrokes. One judge said: “This collection feels very contemporary – there’s a real sense of the maker’s hand and the concept resonates with current issues in a light-hearted way.”
BLE to deliver teatime treats At Brand Licensing Europe 2018, which takes place in October in London, Imperial War Museum (IWM) will present its diverse licensing programme inspired by the museum’s rich archives. In line with this year’s BLE Food & Beverage theme, IWM will showcase its own bestselling kitchen/table ranges, Victory is in the Kitchen and While there is Tea there is Hope. Drawing upon IWM’s First World War collections, the ranges highlight the potential for unique products with powerful and sometimes unexpected stories.
