Preface
As one of human creations, architecture is a visible entity in space, but its essence is the concrete realization of human imagination. The reason why there are differences in architecture in different periods and regions is actually determined by the ideologies of different builders. For example, the complex hierarchy of ancient Chinese architecture is the best example, and it is also an important feature of Chinese ancient architecture which is different from other national buildings. In ancient China, the hierarchy of buildings is stipulated according to the social status of human beings. The style and scale of the buildings, the buildings of the emperor, the royal family and the noble class, the buildings of the court officials and local officials, the buildings of the common people and so on, all have strict hierarchical distinctions. In ancient ritual system, the regulations on architectural form are very specific, including the roof style, the number of spacious spaces, the color of decoration, the form of color paintings and so on. For example, religious implications in European churches are closely related to artistic expression. From the Byzantine style, which began in the 4th century with the prominent "dome top" of the whole center, to the Roman style, which was popular in the 10th century because of the use of "thick, balanced, smooth coupon and arch structures" in ancient Roman architecture, to the Gothic style, which was popular in the 12th century with "giant and colorful glass paintings on the spires and windows that soared into the clouds". Quarterly church buildings have been changing, worrying and forming remarkable artistic styles in different periods with the evolution of Christian religious history. Gothic churches, which are more in line with religious doctrines, have become a model of the perfect combination of religious theological light and artistic aesthetic creation.[1] It is not difficult to know that human ideology plays a decisive role in building materials, forms, shapes, colors and structures, etc. However, let’s review the design process of majors in architecture in domestic colleges and universities-conceptual sketch (preliminary investigation and drawing of analysis chart), first sketch (drawing), second sketch (layout of functional partition, detailing of plane graph), third sketch (horizontal vertical section and drawing). It's not hard to note that the design starts with a preliminary sketch, but let’s imagine, the picture, as one of the ways that is used by humans to specifically describe what's going on in the brain, has limitations in illusion from the very beginning, and does the way we design from sketch have preconceived notions that subconsciously limit our imagination? In other words, do our own sketches, in turn, affect our imagination? Will the more detailed the sketch, the less likely it is to produce more results? The reason why human history can be handed down, in addition to word of mouth, more importantly, is to rely on
the dissemination of words. All kinds of stories and trends of thought are also widely circulated in the form of books. Hence the idea that whether "words", as the greatest and most imaginative creation of human beings, can be applied in the initial design? For example, at the first beginning of the design, in the group, by constantly describing the same topic in words, and constantly enriching the imagination for the design in the form of words, and finally forming a design in words similar to the novel, each person starts the preliminary sketch design independently, and then summarizes the sketch results. Will this approach have more possibilities than a design that starts from the sketch? As Shakespeare once said, "there are a thousand hamlets for a thousand people", which means that everyone has a different understanding of a work. I have tried to start my own design in this way in some of my daily designs, which means, I start to create in the form of text description, and then speculate the form of sketch through the text description similar to novels, and then start to refine and deepen on the basis of sketch. However, then again, "there are a thousand hamlets for a thousand people". Everyone has a different understanding, custom and process for design. I just hope that my imagination can be better applied in design or try to find a different design or a design technique that suits myself. If I can bring some help and inspiration for my friends and classmates around me, it will be my luck that I dare not imagine. These are just some of my personal superficial views and attempts, and hopefully I could be guided and instructed one day so as to reach a higher level. References: [1] Xie Lvxing. 01 “Guardians of the Homeland Art Museum with Syrian War as Theme Summer 2018 "Guardians of homeland, upon you be peace, our ever-proud souls refuse to be seized. The den of Arabism is our sacred home, and the throne of our suns will never go down. The mountains of Syria are towers in height, which talk with the zenith of the highest skies. A land that is splendid with brilliant sun, turning to a sky or almost a sky. The flutter of our hopes and the beats of our hearts, depicted on the flag that united our land. Did we not derive the black from every man's eye, and from ink of martyrs' blood wrote to the tall sky? Spirits defiant and past so glorious, and the martyrs' souls are our guardians. From us, a nation of souls and bravery, Thy glory comes from us, my homeland!" "On April 7, 2018, more than 70 people were killed in a suspected chemical weapons attack in eastern Ghouta area, Syria. US President Donald Trump delivered a speech on the chemical weapons attack in Syria on the evening of April 13, 2018, announcing a strike against Syria.Shortly thereafter, the United States, Britain and France launched air strikes against Damascus, the Syrian capital. -- Sina.com 2018.04.14 The idea of this design came into my mind after I read this news. As a Chinese, I always have special feelings about the country's internal strife and foreign aggression, which thus generated the idea of this design. The project site was selected in one of the three locations hit by the air raid. A war-themed art museum is rebuilt on the ruins, and is open to the public after the war for the commemoration of Syrian history and reflection on the war. The museum is used as an art museum on a daily basis for the display war-themed works of art and equipment, as well as for mediumscale exhibitions of works of art and public commemorations.
Design background After the suspected chemical weapons attack,US President Donald Trump delivered a speech on the chemical weapons attack in Syria on the evening of April 13, 2018, announcing a strike against Syria. Shortly thereafter, the United States, Britain and France launched air strikes on Damascus, the Syrian capital. The allied forces of U.S., British and French have attacked three targets in Syria, mainly in the suburbs of Damascus, eastern Ghouta and Homs.

The analysis chart represents the historical changes of Syria from Ottoman reign to modern times. The vertical axis represents the time change, and the horizontal axis represents the degree of control over the country by different forces. The influence of historical events in different periods on national history can be intuitively seen from the chart. The tour route of the building combines the trend of the lines in the analysis drawing to metaphorize the turbulent history of Syria.

02 MATRIX-2249 the fantasy of the future city under the control of dataism Autumn 2018 "Dataism holds that the universe consists of data streams and that the value of any phenomenon and or entity lies in the contribution of data processing. Dataism points out that the same mathematical law applies to both biochemical algorithms and idea algorithms, so combining the two together breaks the gap between animals and machines, and expects that electronic algorithms will one day be able to solve or even surpass biochemical algorithms......If the situation of data processing changes again in the 21st century, democracy may decline or even disappear. With the increase of data volume and speed of circulation, elections, political parties and parliaments may be eliminated; the reason is not that they are not ethical, but that they cannot deal with data effectively". ——Chapter 11 of Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow The above text comes from the section of Dataism of Yuval Noah Harari's Homo
Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow
In the 21st century, the ability, attitude and manner of data processing will have a decisive impact on human life in the future. The inability of existing rulers and political systems to deal with huge data will affect the transfer of rights. If the traditional political structure can not process data quickly and form a meaningful vision in the 21st century, there will be a more efficient new structure to replace him. If human beings can't accomplish this task by themselves, it may be replaced by AI. The project, under this background, makes bold guesses about the future of human life after the data revolution. Dataism is not just an empty talk about ideals, but a practical commandment like every religion: data doctrine should link more and more media to maximize data, and connect everything to the system. It is under such conditions that everything in human life will change and eventually form the Internet of All Things, which may represent the exit of Homo sapiens. The project only makes bold speculations and guesses about the world after the data revolution, based on the present possibilities, including industry, agriculture, life, energy, behavior, psychology and so on. Some speculations and forms are antiutopian, while some names and patterns combined with some contemporary literary, film and television works have a lot of metaphors, which are stimulating readers'reflection on the real world and the possible development direction of the future world.

Theoretical Basis Design is based on the last dataism of Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow . It combines
the anti-utopian trilogy's conjecture of the future world and describes a future Guangzhou under the dataism. Through the hypothesis of the era of dataism, in order to achieve people's concern about the decline of humanism centered on human beings, and provide more imagination space and choice ideas for reality,
In the design, many titles and concepts in books, films and TV works are adopted. There are many metaphors and hints to stimulate readers' association and thinking. Like the new data tower of Guangzhou in this design is named after MATRIX in "The Matrix". It implies the infiltration and control of future dataism to human life, and expresses the undercurrent and spread of dataism under the cloak of humanism in the visible future. This is where the story begins.

New Canton tower—MATRIX under celebration...
——Since the 21st century, with the connectivity of global network, data processing can no longer be solved by human, life in human world is increasingly dependent on computers. After decades of development, Moore's law of performance improvement in conventional computers is also failing. Finally, in 2030, IBM produced the first relatively complete commercial quantum computer, with mass production followed soon after, which marked the beginning of the fourth industrial revolution. ——With the large-scale use of new quantum computers, human beings’ ability of processing data has been greatly improved. It makes it possible for human beings to collect data from their lives on a large scale to make efficient decisions. For example, for industrial production, output can be determined by gathering people’s needs, etc. Moreover, human life has become more convenient. All aspect of human life are inseparable from data being upload and download at any time. Therefore, it means that the more data resources one owns, the more convenient, fast and efficient life one can enjoy. That leads to competition in the field of data resources. This kind of competition gradually permeates politics, economy, culture and all other domains. Times of dataism begins. ——After 22,23 centuries of development, data has become the foundation of all human life. The cult of dataism was born quietly. ——In 2249, Guangzhou, due to its unique geographical location and natural resources, became China's "Silicon Valley". Here, everyone must have access to all life resources through the data Internet. Everyone connects themselves to the Internet of Everything through a micro quantum computer – “MATRIX”, the new Guangzhou data tower of the former Canton tower. Meanwhile, the Canton tower has made a great change in the appearance......

Chapter 1. New Huadu Town Huadu District of Guangzhou City, Huadu has always been known as the industrial capital, and the new Guangzhou Industrial District has followed the traditional name. The new industrial zones are mainly divided into six major industries: silicon purification, paper making, plastics, glass, metal and cloth. [1] Silicon factories: Factorie mainly produce and purify Si-28,providing materials for quantum computers. Ore resources come from all parts of the country and ports transported from all over the world, such as silicon ore, silicon waste, etc. [2] Garbage recycling: Garbage is classified into recyclable waste and unrecyclable waste. The recyclable waste is further divided into five categories of waste paper, plastic, glass, metal and cloth for reprocessing. Different garbage is used for different purposes.

Chapter 2. BaiYun Farm Agricultural area is located between industrial area and urban main residential space, playing the role of agricultural production and greening isolation. [1]In agricultural production, firstly, degradable garbage and crop waste (such as straw) are recycled to make seedling plate alleviating the excessive consumption of land resources. Seeding plate also can fertilize land. The main crop is rice.Corn, potato, sugar cane, peanuts, fruits, tea, vegetables are planted as well. [2]The data of crop growth are collected by UAV.The data of weather, air quality and temperature are sampled to control the irrigation, spraying and lighting of crops. Solar lamp uses solar energy to provide auxiliary lighting for crops. Regular staff will observe and record the crop growth status, evaluate and adjust the data results. [3]The residual straw and waste after harvesting can be recycled into seedling trays, which can not be recycled directly to provide raw materials for combustion power generation.

Chapter 3. Tianhe Uptown Tianhe District is still the core area of Guangzhou, where the main living space of the city. City is full of treeshaped buildings and the traffic of flying cars runs through the cracks in the sky. Urban buildings are divided into three parts, which are the old urban area located in the earth's surface, the multi-unit residence within the "trunk" and the small unit housings hanged between the "trunk". [1]Small residential dwelling units are customizable. Materials used to build the apartment are inflatables recycled from garbage. All kinds of human needs are monitored in real time by monitors in the building. It can track the status of people and adjust the shape of the building interior according to the need. Each "leaf" can be assembled at any time. Since buildings are made of inflatables and integrated circuits, they are light and easy to moved by helicopter. [2] Tree-shaped apartment, since most of the urban buildings are concentrated on the "leaves" and " trunks" in the vertical space of the city, the ground space is gradually released. The city has drop the concept of a street, but is a continuous square with tree trunks. Traffic is distributed at different altitudes. Air traffic saves the space of ground roads and allows the ground to return to the natural.By uploading their own location data, all people can use the Shared car anytime and anywhere when traveling, which greatly reduces the total number of cars, while meeting the travel needs of more people.

Chapter 4. New Canton Tower—MATRIX [1]New Canton Tower As a transmitting tower, Guangzhou TV tower naturally becomes a public data transfer station serving all people. Each person transmits his or her own data to this huge data source, Guangzhou tower, from which external information and services are received. ——Each person has a specific transmitter (a quantum device similar to an ID card) that corresponds to a corresponding encrypted receiver on the Canton Tower (the transmitter and receiver consist of two pairs of quantum units). Everyone has at least one group, the more data resources they have, the more efficient they can enjoy in life. The possession of data has gradually evolved into a symbol of financial resources, so people will spontaneously provide small quantum computers for the Guangzhou Tower. Minicomputers have already realized automatic contact links, which can be automatically connected to larger processors with only contact. Countless small quantum computers form the new appearance of Guangzhou Tower, which is constantly covered and devoured by small quantum computers. Eventually, a huge central data center, called Matrix, was devoured by a small quantum computer. ——As more and more people spontaneously provide small quantum computers to Guangzhou Tower, this behavior is regulated by the government. Every day, the number of calculators in Guangzhou Tower is regulated. This directly leads to a large number of people queuing up in Huacheng Square every day in order to get a relatively good computer position on this giant processor. Because of the huge demand, political and capital forces began to intervene. Eventually, the number and location of small quantum computers on Matrix directly represented the strength and status of a person or group, and some super-large processors appeared on the tower. Behind this huge industrial chain, it also gave birth to the combination of officials and businessmen, hiding huge commercial interests behind politics. [2]Huacheng Square: Huacheng Square: Huacheng Square is still mainly for entertainment activities, but all entertainment products (toys and souvenirs) are made of silicon materials, and built-in small quantum computers (used to communicate and interact with users, toys at that time are interactive), can be reused after use and recycled to produce purified silicon 28, and then processed into integrated circuits by factories. Eventually it becomes an electronic component, producing a small quantum computer for data transmission and selling it again and reusing it again. All minicomputers can be directly used as personal data processors. They are pluggable and easy to install directly on the Guangzhou Tower.

Chapter 5. Nansha port The new energy port is located on the coast of Nansha District. The new energy port takes into account the roles of port transportation and new energy utilization. The primary function of the new port is still to transport goods by sea. In addition to transporting commodities, it also collects various kinds of ore, ore waste and recyclable garbage from overseas to provide raw materials for industrial processing in industrial zones. Secondly, the new energy harbors are equipped with a large number of new energy installations along the coast, including wind turbines, wave energy, tidal energy generators, algae power generators and so on. [1] Algae generation. A large number of algae photoreactor culturers are installed on both sides of the sea transportation road. Because data monitoring has a larger amount of calculation, the control of algae generation has a more accurate operation. By collecting algae growth data and light sensors, the current generated can be adjusted, leaving enough energy for the survival of algae, while providing enough power generation. Because algae generate electricity through photosynthesis and absorb carbon dioxide in the air, which helps to reduce the greenhouse effect. After generation, algae can also be dried into algae powder, which can be used as biomass fuel to burn productivity, and the carbon dioxide produced by combustion can be reused by algae for photosynthesis. A renewable energy application system with economic and environmental protection has been formed. [2] Wind turbines are located on coastal roads and generate electricity by wind power along the coast of Nansha District. [3] Raft-type devices are installed on both sides of the sea transport road. 03 Recode music Translating music scores to construct architectural elements Winter 2018 "Music is the closest to architecture because, like architecture, music puts its creation in proportion and structure" ——Hegel, Aesthetics , No. 3 For a long time, because of the commonality of proportion, structure and rhythm arrangement between architecture and music, they are always connected by people. However, the relationship between them has always been in an abstract and metaphysical way of thinking, and there are few concrete corresponding ways and formal links from the bottom to the bottom. I try to analyse music and create a fixed way of translation between similar languages. Music can be transformed into various forms of visualization through formulas, which can be expressed in architecture. Formulas can be used to translate different types of music scores, and the data can be read in different forms. Then various expressions can be formed. Finally, different visualization effects can be constructed in architecture, such as interior decoration, wall, building skin, and even building concept block itself. In this experiment, only two pieces of music have been tried, but there are countless possibilities by using formulas and combining different expressions, corresponding techniques, materials and colors. The experiment itself is also an attempt and discussion of data visualization.
Design Introduction For a long time, because of the commonality of proportion, structure and rhythm arrangement between architecture and music, they are always connected by people. However, the relationship between them has always been in an abstract and metaphysical way of thinking, and there are few concrete corresponding ways and formal links from the bottom to the bottom. ——This experiment is an attempt to transform music into architecture. I try to establish a flexible and fixed conversion method, which converts music into visual architectural elements, and then further applies to design. By disassembling different notes, music, tones and other elements in the form of data, reorganizing them into long, wide and high practical data that can be applied to buildings, eventually forming various forms and applying them to different places according to different scales, such as decorative paintings, background walls, smallpox, building facades and so on. ——Firstly, the music is converted into data by a fixed corresponding formula, then the data is processed and reconstructed by Grasshopper and Rhino, and finally the model is generated directly. Because formulas have different ways of translation for different musical elements, different results can be generated according to the different choices. Only Treble clef

Practical application Fig.01 Architectural surface design Fig.02 Architectural surface design Fig.03 Interior decoration
In the actual architectural design, the application of music translation can be realized in many aspects—from the indoor grille, background wall, ceiling, ceiling lamp, to the outdoor landscape metope, floor pavement and decoration, building elevation, building window, in all of which this kind of method can be used to offer basis for the design. In this experiment, stimulation trials were carried out for some simple scenes. Source pictures originate from the network and are processed into concept maps, which only serve as explanatory designs
