Globe Air Cargo Turkey (GAC TR), a Turkish subsidiary of the ECS Group, has signed an exclusivity contract with EgyptAir Cargo. From September, GAC TR will market the airline’s cargo.
The exclusivity contract is a step forwards for GAC TR, which has been recognised by EgyptAir Cargo as a preferred sales agent (PSA) since 2016.

ECS Group’s Turkish subsidiary, Globe Air Cargo Turkey has signed an exclusive contract with EgyptAir Cargo to market its cargo from 1 September.
The subsidiary has been EgyptAir Cargo’s preferred sales agent for three years and signed the contract to manage marketing of cargo capacity on 21 August.
Based in Istanbul and founded in 2015, the seven employees aim to develop and secure freight opportunities for current and future destinations, and increase recruitment and accelerate growth.

The ECS Group subsidiary has been EgyptAir Cargo’s preferred general sales agent (GSA) for three years and signed the contract to manage marketing of freight capacity on 21 August.
GAC TR is based in Istanbul and founded in 2015 and the seven employees aim to develop and secure freight opportunities for current and future destinations while increasing recruitment and accelerate growth.

Yeti, a mixed breed, five-month-old puppy, was recently abandoned with his siblings in a basket outside a rescue centre in Samos, Greece.

The US is something of a terra incognita as far as general sales agency is concerned, says local country manager at ECS Group, Francisco Hernandez.
“In my eyes, the GSA markets in the US are in a very primitive stage compared to the rest of the world. There are still many untapped opportunities for airlines to utilise the GSAs’ full potential,” he explains.
They can offer much more than a simple sales outlet: “The GSA industry will continue to expand as we see airlines lean on their partners for market-specific intelligence and technology.
