About Me Design Concept As a designer , I believe the most important thing is to let our life become more convenient and better , and bring a smile on everyone’s faces . So I like to think something new in my design , and how to make the users feel funny or surprised when they use my products . The other important thing is that you must love your design . Because if you don’t love it , it can’t work well . Keep trying and exploring something new , then combine with new technology is also an important thing for a designer to do .

About Me My Life Besides work , I like to enjoy my life , I am a drummer and a guitar player , I was a band leader in Taiwan when I was in college , and now I would like to join a band after I get o from work , keep playing and creating some musics . I also like to play some video games and watch cartoon that make my mind stay young . I think it is very important to let my life colorful !
When I was in college , I participated in some volunteer activities . We organized lots of camp events for children . Every winter or summer vacation we played with children and taught them how to cooperate with our team , sometimes we created a secret base by wood and explored some science topics together .

People usually think wooden toys are very heavy , so I used a streamline shape to the ďŹ re truck , bringing out the feeling of emergency and making the product looks cool .
Use simple structure in this design , making this truck looks not bulky but very fast .

It is a space raceship’s concept design . in the future , contestants drive this ship in the sky to race . This kind of competition just like the car racing nowadays !

In 3D model , we can see there are two rocket engines on both side of the ship . And a reverse gravity engine on the bottom .
a streamline shape is used in the head of the ship to enhance sense of speed and the entire appearance .

Sketch & 3D Work It is a truck head’s concept design practice . I would like to design it with cool shape that make it looks like a transformer , and I increce the window of cockpit on the top , so the driver can see more .

Sketch & 3D Work It is a supercar’s concept design practice. As a boy , supercars always our dream . so in this concept design , I reference the Lamborghini’s design and add some changes . like I separated the head into three parts , incresed more shapes and lines .
I would like to make the back of the car looks very surprising , so I design some complex thing make it like a rocket engine , but there are still taillights on the top .

There is always a leaf on the hedgehog’s back , because the leaf is always stabbed on its spines .
This fox is not a typical fox , it is very kind to other animals in the forest , so it always smile .

Sketch & 3D Work These two bullet trains were designed for the toy brand KCFriends . There are two characters in this brand “ K ” & “ C ” and this train was designed for “ C ” , using the character’s color on the artwork .
This train was design for “ K ” . “ K ” is a naughty and extrovert little boy , so I used some elements of adventure on this design .

This train engine concept is design for Toysrus . In this design I combined two materials “ wooden ” & “ plastic ” together , because I would like to add more play value and shape in tranditional wooden train set by using plastic .

Wooden Craft Pinocchio is a home & kitchen accessory with fun and surprise . Every little creative ideas can make life more funny ! Like the whale’s eyes will change when the mouth is opened , and it can store all the characters in its mouth just like the scene in story books . Take o the hat , and add some seasonings in your meals from the fox or cat ! And each part of the characters are combined with magnets , so you can exchange any parts whatever you like !

Pinocchio is a memo tool . There are magnets on its nose , and a pen hiddin in its hat . This product I was inspired from the pinocchio’s nose that when he tells lies then his nose will extands , so I think reversely that when he tells the truth , his nose will be shortened .
So when we write down the truth in our mind by using pinocchio’s pen and stick on the board by using his nose which Inlaided magnets , his nose will be shortened .

The cat is a pepper pot , and the fox is a chili pot . you can see how many pepper or chili you have in the pot from the body , and also can distinguish which is pepper or chili form the wooden color in their body . And the old carpenter is atoothpick pot !

Wooden Craft Monster furniture’s design concept was that I think there are actually lots of monsters living in our world , but we can’t see them because they are hiding by disguise into a furniture . And actually those monsters are very kind . They help us to live more convenient , like helping us to storage magazines or books .

And in this design , I also hope that people can learn to treasure their furnitures . Because monster furnitures are not just a stu , but it’s a partner which living with us and help us to live more convenient . Sometimes we can see them when we using them .

Toy Design This toy is a train set with a station . And the most special thing is that the station can become a storage . Kids can put all of the pieces in the station and carry it to anywhere they want ! And the station has double levels , the second level can be pulled out to be a storage wall .

This train set is a construction theme train set . Kids can enjoy a role play game with this set ! And the construction board has double print , so kids can choose which scene they like !

Toy Design This train set was designed for Toys R Us , it’s combined with plastic and wood . Each set has a character to do the role play . We add some moveable structures in the part of plastic , so character can interact with the train to increase play value .

Toy Design
This product was designed for Toys R Us too . It’s a fruit stand with a scale and a cash register . Kids can play sell and buy game with their friends or parents . This is also used some plastic materials to increase the play value . And I tryed lots of shape designs and discussed with engeeners about the structures .

Toy Design This product was designed for Toys R Us , it’s a creative table with double-sided board & paints .The board has double sided surfaces wihch are dry erase & blackboard , kids can choose what they want by ipping over the board . My design for the tabletop was inspired by palette . And I used the cross structure on the legs .
