Are you authentic in your relationships ? First, let’s explore this concept of authenticity. Webster defines it as, ―genuineness; the quality of being genuine or not corrupted from the original‖.

Wilma Weems

In view of that, what hinders someone from exhibiting authenticity? Ultimately, the basic root is fear. We’d prefer to masquerade under some type of façade to endear others to us. We tend to think that projecting ourselves as something we’re not will compel others to accept us. The bible states in Luke 16, ―And he said unto them, ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God‖. And in Romans 12, the word reminds us “…..to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think”. Do we adhere more to man than to God? At the outset, assess your authenticity level with yourself. Are you real with yourself? Do you truly know yourself? What are your motives, weaknesses, strengths, temptation opportunities, and so on. The word states that ―the Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:…‖. Consequently, the question becomes, do we trust God with who we are? Can we be authentic enough with ourselves to know that God has an expected end (or outcome) for our life…..that was designed even before the foundation of the earth? Can we believe and trust God enough to know that even with our flaws, our positioning in his will grants us access to his provisions for maturity? Hence, we’re already ―there‖ while God is processing us to ―there‖. With that in mind, there is now no reason to pretend or not be genuine with ourselves, God or others. The original is conformity to the image of Christ. Our genuineness is measured by Christ Jesus; he is the benchmark. He has modeled the pattern. Jesus was not moved by man because he knew what was in man. The original is truth…love…compassion.. hope. As we journey throughout this day, I challenge you to embody God’s word and live authentically. Be real with yourself, God and others. Die to the notion of pretense and masks and allow Holy Spirit to arise and show himself strong in your life. For in your realness, someone just might be saved, healed, delivered or set free from the yokes and bondages of this earthly life. For in the end, it’s all about Him!

Daughters Made of Clay Jeremiah :18:1- 4 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying:―Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.‖Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. Isaiah 64:8 But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand. This is the place where God is molding you and conforming you into His image. This is the place where all impurities and defilement will be destroyed and all bruises and blemishes will be erased. This is the place where the rough edges will be smooth out, broken vessels will be restored and old mindsets will be dismantled. Afflictions, traumas and misfortunes from the past will be annihilated and dreams will be birth and brought forth. This is the place where your mind will be renewed and you will learn to walk in integrity and maturity. This place is necessary for your spiritual growth to bring forth the gifts that God have placed on the inside of you. Daughters of God I want to encourage you don’t resist the potter’s wheel but allow God to transform you as He shape your life and destiny. Don’t say that this is an uncomfortable place but know that it is for your benefit and necessary to bring you in to all that is available to you. Do not resist the work that God is doing in you but allow Him to accomplish His perfect will in you. Allow Him to work with you and fashion you into the woman that He have created you to be. He is the master potter and as you submit yourself to Him He will design your life and take you to new heights. As you allow Him to mold you into the glorious vessel that He created you to be, others will see the brilliance of the transformed life that He is creating in you. He desire to make something beautiful out of your life as you allow Him to work in and through you. As always, thanks for reading… until next time be empowered to be all that God created you to be!

Thank you!! This is the usual expression of appreciation. We express our appreciation to God for all He has done in our lives during Thanksgiving Day. Some go as far as preparing a speech for when their turn comes around the table. Is there a true ―Thanksgiving‖? Or it is just because of tradition? The reality is that we should be thankful to God for His grace and mercy on every moment of our lives. He paid the price for our lives at the cross. Our sins has been forgiven, He is our Redeemer & our Savior. Yes, there are moments where it seems like life is going down hill, where every thing goes wrong. The question is, why? What choices have been made, causing everything to go wrong?. The enemy is here to destroy lives at what ever cost. But God sent His Son to set the captive free. You have the opportunity to be free with a simple prayer, believing and accepting the freedom He offers. Father, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. So today, I come humble before you asking you to forgive me for all my sins, known & unknown. Come into my heart, I want to be like you. Clean me, show me your ways, teach me your status & fill me with your Spirit; In Jesus name, Amen! Now, give God thanks for freedom, for you are no longer captive. Stay focused and find a Bible teaching church where you can be developed for the purpose of God. If you need prayer, call 813-325-5730. WHERE IN THE WORLD IS …………….. Judah? Where is this place? Have you ever heard a preacher or praise leader say ―Send Judah first!‖ Did you ever wonder who or what it is? Did you look around and see if Judah was coming up to the pulpit to lead you in worship? Well, Judah is actually a person, place and thing (so to speak). Look up Judah in a Bible Dictionary. You might find out some very interesting things about Judah. WHO’S THAT? Habakkuk - Who is this person? Another one of these funny names! Do you know who he was? Or better yet, try to find his book in the Bible without looking at the table of contents! Think you can find it? Try it. I know you can’t find it without peaking in the table of contents! His name sounds like a sneeze or cough ,but he was very important to the people of Judah. Using a Bible Dictionary and Bible Handbook, find out all you can about him. Note: A very famous saying is in this book. See if you can find it. It is only 3 chapters long. MISQUOTED SCRIPTURES………Uggggggggggghhhhhhh – Have you ever heard this? ―There will come a time when you won’t know the seasons but by the budding of the trees!‖ My father quoted this many times when the weather made it seem like we were in a different season than what the calendar said. I always thought it was scripture until one day I grew up and began to look for it in the Bible. My father was full of quotes, sayings, etc. which, I’m sure many of you can identify with me on that when it came to your parents. Using your Bible index, find the word ―season or seasons.‖ Look up all the scriptures listed and see if you can find this saying. You’ll be amazed at what you find out. Have fun and get your children involved looking it up with you! ANSWERS NEXT MONTH

Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven” It’s that time of year again when the seasons change. I am not only referring to the weather, but our wardrobe selections as well. With a change in the weather comes a change in behaviors which impact how we feel and express ourselves. For some people, this change is eased with comfort foods such as; soups, stews, casseroles, hot drinks etc. Wardrobe is also a large part of our seasonal changes’ top priority. This year’s fashion picks are; fringes, faux (fake), patterned look and utility boots. This year, the moods are going to be set by colors. The colors this year are more warm and inviting; colors that speak to our physical and spiritual senses. This year’s colors , according to popular fashion magazines are: deep purple, rust, chocolate brown, gold ,brick reds and forest green. Everything in God’s kingdom goes through changes. This fall, embrace the season of change by experimenting with color. Change is not always a negative thing. I personally believe that God likes change. There is proof especially this time of year of God’s favor towards change; leaves change color, weather, aging process, salvation and so much more! Change is a part of life and can at times be challenging.

The other day I was on the phone with someone on the verge of making a decision to live for Christ. The only thing that has been holding this person back was the fact that she didn’t want to struggle; she wanted everything to be smooth sailing once she accepted Jesus into her heart. This high school senior didn’t want to let go of the world and admitted that she wanted to have fun while she was young. She felt that if she came to Jesus, she’d have a boring, stale life. She felt that with all the rules she’d have to live by, there would be no room to enjoy life’s ―freedoms‖. In so many words, I let her know that the Christian life is anything but boring and that she could have fun in Christ. But in no uncertain terms did I lie to her, as I’ve heard most ministers tell potential converts, and say that it will be a bed of roses once she chooses life in Him. During a small bible study over the phone, one of the last verses I had her read was 1 Peter 4:7. I explained to her that we all have to live in light of the fact that time is running out and we shouldn’t be content with putting things off. We shouldn’t even be so presumptuous as to think that we would make it to that time where we’ve perceived to have had enough fun (sin). Our pride allows us to believe that we can control sin. I pondered about the ways I’ve looked at the Christian walk as being hard. God spoke to my heart and simplified some things for me. As a man of God, I only had to focus on four main things; 1. Washing my mind daily with the word of God 2. Work to provide for my family 3. Make sure I minister the word to my family 4. Go out and win the lost God uses various situations to bring out things in us that we didn’t even realize we had. After ministering to someone else, trying to simplify the Christian walk to them, I realized that I still had areas in my mind where I viewed the Christian life as ―too hard‖. Let us not complicate the simplicity of Christ-likeness!

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

FAVORITE SCRIPTURE

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6

This is one of my favorite scriptures because even while we are “jacked up”, we can still be confident that Jesus is continuing to work in us and through us.. Additionally, regardless of situations and trials, we are certain that He will complete the work that He started—to conform us into His image. Hallelujah!

one to love me. It was akin to that empty feeling that exists in the pit of your stomach when you are lost and fearful. Yet, my saving grace was coming into the knowledge that God loved me more than any man could and that his love would fulfill all my needs. To this day the door that was opened back then ,still tries to infiltrate my senses, but my spirit is on guard at a higher level than it has ever been. Praise God! It amused me that I could interview people at the drop of a hat but had the hardest time writing about myself from my own perspective.

forting those in need. It took me awhile to realize his because it can be hard to encourage when you aren’t truly encouraged at what life produces at times.

I always talk about testimonies when I conduct an interview, and how tests that we go through often end up being lessons that we learn. I believe that my first testimony began when I was in my late twenties and started experiencing slight hair loss, painful sore throat symptoms, and an overall flulike feeling. I was examined by a specialist who found a golf ball size goiter in my throat and diagnosed thyroid disease whereby, my eyes would start bulging and I would be on medicine for life. The devil is a liar!

I found out about Center for Manifestation about 9 months ago through my co-workers, Lashonda and Meshelle. When I first heard Apostle Mark Jones, I felt a connection to my path to destiny. Lady Lisa also moved me as she is not only beautiful outside but inside as well. The atmosphere is definitely one where all can feel welcome. Currently, God is shifting my life and direction in regards to my occupation and personal growth. I know that other areas of my life will be shifting in the months to come, but for now I plan to trust God in the place that I am now.

I rebuked it immediately and literally ran to my church that I was attending at that time. I went up for a healing and when the pastor and his wife God Bless You Readers!! prayed over my throat the heat of the Holy Spirit came upon me as I was healed that moment! I reWritten by: Denise Griffith turned to the doctor who looked at my tests twice, laughed and said; I don’t know if you believe in miracles but your tests came back normal and you are healed!! Another time, I started feeling a sharp pain in my knee, it was almost crippling and hit me instantly. I couldn’t walk without a serious limp and I feared any bone related disease. I went for xrays. An orthopedic doctor told me blatantly; ―Your knee cap is shattered. You must get a knee replacement surgery by way of a steel rod put in your leg.‖ If I did not see the x-ray with my own eyes ,I would not have believed it. I once again rebuked the diagnosis and called my church’s prayer line. I walked perfectly fine afterwards and never went back. Praise God! These are just a couple of many times that the Lord has healed me! As I grow in my walk with Christ, I have learned one thing. God loves us and sees beyond what man sees. God made us in His image so he knows our beginning and our end. I find it interesting to see what deposits people can make in one another’s lives. As I meet people, I personally enjoy letting them talk about themselves and see what surfaces. I am an encourager. Typically, the gift of mercy surfaces in times of com-

A warm ―hello‖ to all CFM Partners! First, I would like to introduce myself. I am Felecia Le’shan King, a recent addition to the family here at CFM and a 4th grade teacher in the Hillsborough County School District. I am super excited about the opportunity to contribute to our newsletter with the purpose of helping to empower families with school-aged children. The information I provide will be pertinent to parents of elementary students [Kindergarten thru 5th grade.] Parents of middle and high school students may find the information useful as well. My teaching philosophy lends itself to helping students succeed holistically— academically, socially, relationally, spiritually, and physically. Thus, the information, suggestions, and teaching tips [for both home and school] that I share with you will encompass each of these areas. My entire teaching career as a 4th and 5th grade teacher has been at Esther D. Burney Elementary—a Title 1 and Renaissance school. Working at such a school has contributed to my growth and development as a professional and individual. What does this mean to you? Expertise and resources—which are invaluable tools in today’s educational system. My success and that of my students is attributed to not only my dedication, but the dedication of the wonderful peers who work along side me everyday. These will be the same individuals that will support me, on occasion, in compiling the information that I relay to you. Exactly what can you expect from Teaching Champions? I will share with you: helpful websites, off-campus resources available to families and students, important upcoming dates and district information, testing tips, brain based research, and—most importantly, tried and true strategies that will contribute to your child’s success in reading and math. I am looking forward to spending this 2011-2012 school year with you—a year that is already destined to be full of promise and purpose! Point to Ponder—within each of us is the capacity to be both a teacher and student to every child in our sphere of influence. Until next time… Best Regards,

Felecia L. King

Our Vision Proverbs 29: 18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish Our vision is to teach the end-time church of the essence of Kingdom life, and to communicate deep, spiritual truth in a simplified manner. The Center for Manifestation was released from the heart of God to be a refreshing force to the body of Christ. While the central theme and essence of this ministry is to prepare the way for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, in part, this purpose is accomplished by retraining the saints as to what their God-given roles and responsibilities in the church are. It is also the vision of this ministry to bring healing and deliverance to those who have been hindered from moving into position for the latter rains. This is the season for the manifestation of the sons of God! 3102 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610, Ph: 813-241-6919, Fax: 813-217-5460 www.centerformanifestation.com
